The Cooper Triangle is a very small park just smacked in the middle of the city. I guess it's a nice place to relax and chill if your used to the NYC noise, but for tourists I'd doubt they would like it. There is usually a few homeless people sitting on benches and also there is trash on the ground near the trash cans but not in the plants or in the middle of the park. There's not really much to see, just a statue and a few trees. I don't think there was much consideration in this park and it was just made in a rush. Probably not a good stop for tourists, but hey, I won't stop them. I think this park is more for campus students and the school pride, not like a park for fun or...

The park is at the doors of the Great Hall of Cooper Union, and is sandwiched between the Cooper Union and Village Voice building.
NYU. territory with plenty of NYU dormitories and buildings.
The NYC MTA M103 Buses are readily available on E. 7th Street, and the M101and M102 is available on 3rd Avenue and St. Marks Place.
The NYC MTA Astor Place Stations is at Lafayette and E. 8th Street right across the street from Kmart.

The small fences made of piping were never improved or even removed from the plastic that initially covered them, some of which may still be found to this day. I haven’t noticed the water fountains working yet. The park is not a place I would recommend and is not a friendly place.
