DO NOT GET A PIERCING HERE!!!! Me and my friend both wanted to get our belly buttons pierced to look cute, so we decided to go to St. Marks (because it's cheap and you don't need a guardian to sign off) and find a place where we can get them pierced. We saw Bashira piercings and decided to go in because it looked clean and overall better than other stores. When we walked into the little office where they actually pierce, again it was clean and the piercer had a certificate on the wall (it is probably fake) so we thought he was a professional. Everything was very sterile when we got them done and it didn't really hurt, but the healing process was horrible because it seemed like it was healed some days and infected the others. About 8 months later I got the piercing (the time when it was supposed to be healed by, since I was spraying daily) my skin around it was so dry and my skin just ripped off. I got my labret done here about a month ago and he pierces it with a cheap and very snug ring. I question him about this he claims its my perfect size and not to worry. I follow all his aftercare instructions but for the next 3 weeks the swelling and pain get worse to the point the ring embeds in my lip. I go back to him asking for help or a bigger size to which he says its my perfect size and to come back tomorrow fir a bigger ring. i come back and he has nothing. fed up i go to a different piercer and get the longest bar they have which still embeds bc my lip is swollen and infected. Horrible place. Felt extremely uncomfortable and the man was so aggressive with my piercing. I have never had this experience with a piercer once in my existence. Very sketchy and i’m confused on the good reviews because I felt as if my safety was threatened. I would give it 0 stars if possible. He did not know what he was doing and the tools were not cleaned.
