AWFUL TERRIBLE LOUSY EXPERIENCE! I obtained a LEXUS PRE OWNED Vehicle from Sunrise and it was FAR from a smooth transition. Very ROUGH and Painful. Only satisfied I got APPROVED for Finance, Even though they insisted I fabricate the Income numbers after application was filled and submitted which is FRAUD and deceptive, very shady and sketchy business practices. I Recently discovered LEXUS Car has AWFUL BREAKS AT ONLY 28,000 miles, Requires an OUT OF POCKET EXPENSE!!! They are wearing thin. I traded a HIGH Quality lexus with BRAND new Ceramic Break pads AND BRAND NEW ROTORS. SADLY They low balled me with my trade by $1,800 AFTER 4 HOURS OF NEGOTIATION. Lexus ES 350 trade for Lexus HYBRID. Bottom Line the Deal was FAIR AT BEST. WORST PART WAS THE DOOR PANEL on driver REAR SIDE HAD A DEFECT WITH CHILD SAFETY RELEASE. I TOOK VEHICLE HOME AND DISCOVERED THIS. I spent SEVERAL TRIPS with Lexus of Watertown as it was confirmed. Vehicle Should NOT have been sold with this issue. Miles did NOT do a thorough job with Detailing car as I asked, it ended up having SCRATCHES that are visible both front and rear. I made several requests but I'm clearly convinced there is disconnect on Dealership end. I had to ask 4 times for them to FILL GAS IN CAR as it was EMPTY For $24,000 PURCHASE!!! They settled to put $20 HALF TANK. Please AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I purchased this car and reside in MA Out of STATE. My VEHICLE REGISTRATION WAS HELD HOSTAGE BY THE DEALERSHIP AS I HAD TO OBTAIN A COPY AT REGISTRY AND GO OUT OF MY WAY FOR THEIR MISTAKE. They Fail to Educate consumers with reasonable info that is needed. ALSO THEY INSISTED I PAY THEM $864.00 2 WEEKS AFTER VEHICLE ALREADY WAS IN MY POSSESSION PER SID THE MANAGER OWNER GENERAL MANAGER (JACK OF ALL TRADES) MAN IMPLIED I MUST PAY HIM $864 BECAUSE THEY CALCULATED THE TAX TRADE IN ALLOWANCE INCORRECTLY AS VEHICLE IS PURCHASED FROM NY BUT I LIVE IN MA SO TAX CREDIT DOES NOT APPLY. VERY FOOLISH mistake. I threatened to cancel the deal as this was an AWFUL experience all around. EVEN FOR FREE I WOULD NOT visit the dealership for a car IN THE FUTURE. That is the terrible impression and very POOR Customer experience I was subjected to. Do your Research with dealership, I hope these SCAMS will be eliminated in future.    Read moreI go to this dealership and after looking over a vehicle I was interested in by John, I am further introduced to a man named Sid who barely greets me then as he takes my application that I filled he does the inquiry. He does not tell me what hes doing, he was just oddly silent as he makes me sit there for over an hour, and I assumed throughout this time period that he was looking into finance options. I asked him several times what lenders he was searching out to, getting a short response mentioning CredCo. This experience was all quite weird as I had many questions to ask regarding finance plans, the unit price of the car being well overpriced, and lack of service records or even an update to hear back from them, which I had to call back. I called him a couple times after I left since I had to go to physical therapy and later when I call Sid after 2-3 times wondering why this took so long, he gives me a rough estimate, which ended up being 2-300 dollars extra for monthly payments than I had expected along with an insane interest rate; much higher than anything I’ve gotten with the credit I currently had/have. “Uhh payments are gonna be around __” he says on the phone. I dont know why he couldnt do this in person, and when I asked other people working there I was told he was not at the office.
What makes this situation even stranger is how I look through my credit report on Experian and I see that he did 7 INQUIRIES. Thats right, 7. Now I dont understand the deception here and the fact that they had the need to run through 7 separate hard inquiries as many may know that is not good for your credit, nor understand why he did that many inquiries towards other lenders to give me a vague rough estimate such as that, along with NEVER contacting me to come by again or go over numbers. It seemed like a strange tactic to me. Before I came to this dealership I also visited one other place for the same car and the man at that place didnt do such a thing, as well as went over a breakdown of fees properly, as opposed to the men at this dealership. Their mode of operation and attitude towards customers is honestly discerning, and shady. Reading these other posts similar to the experience I had here strike an important piece of advice to remember, which is to know more about the dealership you head to along with their reputation...
   Read moreBought a mazda cx9 end of Feb. John was great working with making the financial transaction easy. Unfortunately, this used car experience turned out to be a nightmare. Even though, It seemed to be a great value (live in NJ went all to way to Jamaica to buy), cost me $5,000+ to either fix issues, towing, rental car costs and loss of value when finally trading it in for a new car this week AND a lot of stress and time. Sunrise addressed the transmission issue on 2 occasions (26 days in total in their shop for repair) to finally replace it with another used one , also discovered that the breaks needed a change, tire balancing, steering wheel, plus various other issues that I paid for myself. I finally gave up when non-related to them auto shop showed me how the impact from the front accident effected the A/C system which I thought needed Freon only, I needed to put in add'l $700+ to get it fixed, . When brought up the issues I was being told that I bought a used car and shouldn't expect anything better and that I am trying to squeeze $ out of them. finally gave up dealing with the car, adding more $ and putting family at risk by driving damaged car. I traded in this week for a new one. Please have any car purchased independently checked before buying. putting 1 star because I can't post it with 0. I have proof for every statement I made...
