I got my braces done here a while back and everything was less than okay, the front desk was really rude, she was a older lady with rectangular glasses and black hair. (Was not happy to service people who did not bring her a coffee or something..you get the point.)
I've gotten my retainers replaced a couple of times here which is COSTLY. I think it was ~200 to replace..correct me if I'm wrong. The material of the retainers are really thin and flimsy and SO SO SO fragile. So you can probably guess what happened...my retainer ended up breaking again :D
I've been trying to contact the staff here VIA email for TWO YEARS LOL. Guess what? Got no reply back..EVER. You might ask why I contacted through email and not phone calls? Well first, on their website it states if I have a concern I should email them via their email. (HEADS UP YALL THEY DID NOT RESPOND LOLOL EVER) I've sent countless emails and I've gotten no responses. Literally ZERO, it's really upsetting to be honest. Then we move on and you might say then just call them. I tried. Everytime I called I would either be directed to voicemail OR OR get this, someone would pick up and then just tell me to hold on and NEVER come back. MULTIPLE TIMES.
Yeah moral of the story, save yourself time and money. Don't go here, you can definitely find somewhere...
Read moreDr. Luk and his associates are as professional as it comes. I had a pretty difficult malocclusion (crowding, impacted canines, extreme underbite) that required ~3 years of braces, but Dr. Luk and co. made it as easy and painless as possible.
They are very efficient, skilled, respectful, and experienced. The front reception is lovely, understanding, friendly, and just as experienced in the field. However, they (understandably) expect the same amount of respect and commitment from you.
As I said, I had a difficult malocclusion, but they guided me through my alignment, tooth extraction, wisdom tooth extraction surgery, jaw surgery- everything I needed. They’re always a phone call away if you have any questions or issues with your appointment, and are willing to make an emergency appointment to address discomfort or a bracket coming off.
It wasn’t always a pleasant experience (especially the recovery from the jaw surgery) but I’m glad I did it, and would do it again and again in a heartbeat. I’ve fully recovered now, and got my braces taken off about a month ago. To say the least, my life has forever changed for the better. I love smiling and now have full confidence when I do! 😁

Read moreFive years ago, in Venezuela, I started using braces and, of course, my teeth were awful. 4 years had passed and I didn't see much changes on my teeth. I was getting so desperate because I wanted to take my braces off, but my teeth weren't ready yet. Because of personal reasons I had to leave my country, and through a friend of mine I got to meet Dr. Luk. When he first examined my teeth i felt so confident about his work because he could notice and see all the things, including the little ones, that my teeth needed in order to be straight, even those ones that my prior Dr. wasn't aware of. I'm surprised because, what my prior Dr. couldn't do in 4 years, he did it in 1 year. What I really like about him is that he is so patient! Sometimes I am very picky ( I am sure he noticed haha) but still, he handled it professionally. Besides, you get to have good conversations with him during the appointments haha. I got my braces off a week ago and I'm enjoying my new smile so much. I'm glad my teeth were treated by him. Thank...
