Good tea but poor management. They offer a presale event on Hungrypanda. On the post that provided instructions for grand opening, it clearly stated there will be two lines, one for walk in and one for presale.
In the store there was signs that stated the left is line for walk in order and right is line for presale. I went to the right line, or so call "a line" because it was a huge mess. People were all over the place. I waited for 20 minutes, got to the front show the lady the order I placed on Hungrypanda and the young lady ask me did I order yet. I'm so confused, didn't I place the order on Hungrypanda, what do you mean by if I have order. And she told me you will need to order at the left counter. I ask her why and she didnt answer and move on to next customer.
I dont get why you put a sign or make two lines if you end up at the same counter and ordering in person. What is the reason of presale if you are not separating presale and walk-in the correct way. For all other places whether its presale or order for pickup you just show them your order and it will be ready. I have never experienced such thing that I need to reorder again at counter if its already placed. Like yes I didn't have to pay twice but whats the reason for presale and the two "signs" or two "lines" if you are not organizing it in the proper way.
I end up waiting another 20-30 minutes for the order. There is no difference with walk-in order other than getting this mini candle thing. I don't know if the presale was meant to be sorted this way, if yes instructions need to be more detailed.
The whole process would have been much easier if you had post the direction online or outside somewhere to say you will need to show your presale order to the cashier prior to pick up which they did not. Organizations and management need to be much better. This location is larger than flushing locations but the management is way worse.
In summary, one star for management only not the tea, tea was good. Try to go on non busier hours, it's not a great experience...
Read moreI really like Molly tea but the service here was not good. When we were ordering I understand it was a confusing order but the girl taking the order was a bit rude and then sighed loudly… then later when getting my order I asked for the insulated bags since we’re taking the drinks home and she said I would have to pay $1 for the bag. I would pay for it but I didn’t want to because while I was waiting for them to add the whipped cream to my drinks a girl who got her order in a paper bag asked for the insulated bag and then they took out her one drink from the bag and put it in the insulated bag. She did ask in Chinese… so idk if they gave it to her cus of that. And I get it people get extra sometimes but I asked right after.. anyway i told them the girl ahead got the bag and asked why I can’t and the girl says its cus she placed the order online, and i was like i know she didn’t so then she says it cus she ordered one drink and so she can get that bag but if i want it i need to order at least 6 drinks. Like what? I have 4 drinks and you can’t give me an insulated bag but if you order 1 you can get an insulated bag? Then I should just order my drinks in 4 separate transactions… It was a bit frustrating cus I just wanted the bag so the drinks can stay colder for my sister. It really isn’t a big deal but the way the girl was from the beginning until the end was just rude.
All the drinks are really good. I do feel like the whipped cream tasted lighter at the flushing location but maybe it’s just in my head
Also, I haven’t been able to taste the jasmine in the whipped cream from flushing or this location.. taste just like reg whipped cream but the pecans make...
Read moreNo idea of the drink is good but the idea of having a split line for ordering with hungry panda and not hungry panda is dumb. The line managed with hungry panda worked out great but for those that do NOT use the app needs to stand and wait when no one calls out your order. Your drink will just sit there. Even if you see your number at the “ready” section of the screen, you still can’t get your drink. I saw my number pop up and decided to find someone to ask because the people infront of me was not moving. When I found a worker, they said I had to get back into the herd of people and wait. If I did not glance and see the receipts of those infront of me, I would be standing there forever. Their number was not even on the screen. I had to push and shove my way to the front to get my drink.
If you don’t order with hungry panda delivery service - you will not get your drink freshly made. You will not get the VIP service of them calling your order number. If your drink is cold, your drink will probably taste very diluted with it sitting in the counter for ages.
Opening day will always be difficult and crazy but not having any sort direction or guidance with the pickup...
