This is a pretty great location! Its located conveniently next to the 59th Street train station on 8th Avenue. They recently renovated and opened up a third floor which offers even more items and gives you more space to browse around. They also have multiple cash registers to help move congestion at the line. Expect to wait during the busier times and pick up things you dont need on yiu way to the register lol The workers are friendly and helpful. The greeters are nice and cheerful. I appreciate that security doesn't follow you around when you shop. The first floor is mainly bags and small accessories. The second floor is beauty, women's clothes, travel items and some home goods. The third floor is more home goods, men's clothes, more beauty and the shoe department. There is a lot of selection, things are organized neatly and efficiently and in a way that you can find what you're looking for. Even if you're not looking to buy or dont have time to wait on line, there's a lot to browse and window shop. I will definitely visit again.

Extremely unprofessional and treat customers like garbage.

I called my mom about a personal crisis. She answers. She’s in the store. (And I’m proud because she never goes there but finally made a visit today.) She’s talking to me about a potential legal case. While on the phone, they’re badgering her about something she’s looking at. I hear them asking, “Are you going to buy it or not?” I hear her say, “I’m on the phone.” I don’t know what’s going on. I ask whether she has to go, thinking she’s in a business meeting. She says she’s fine. I insist. She clarifies she’s in a store and was looking at something she probably wont get.

After we finish our time sensitive conversation, we FaceTime so I can see the sweater jacket. I see it hanging it. We discuss. She decides she will go to the dressing room. A woman must be following her like a hawk bc when she agrees someone says you cannot. I ask for clarification because that makes no sense. The woman justifies their alleged “policy”, It’s a jacket (and not a coat, not that it should make a difference).” BS. It doesn’t matter. I’ve been there more than five times. No issue. You get a # in the dressing room that counts the # of items. Can’t believe even spending time getting into this.

We FaceTime. I get upset at how she’s being treated. I said to record. She responds to me with a more mature view. As she checks out I hear her getting harassed again! I hear her say , it’s only $90. (Why are you giving me such a hard time?) she’s dressed in Burberry and nicely dressed (all full price or def not from the likes of a discount retailer). My most graceful mom I hear is no getting upset.

Why are they treating her like a criminal? I nEVER pull this card but are they racist against Asian women?

If she recorded the video would’ve gone...

The service here is really poor. I went to the jewellery counter and the mass majority of jewellery items are kept behind the glass counter despite being low prices which is very inconvenient. They seem to work on a take a number on a ticket system and wait to be seen by an assistant but the ticket machine was empty. I’m from the uk and found this to be a very strange concept anywhere outside of a high end jewellers but unsure if this is the norm in the US. After waiting nearly 10 minutes an assistant asked if I was okay and before I could even finish my sentence (I only wanted the necklace to be taken out of the counter so I could go buy it) I was cut off and told to write my name in a book and wait to be seen. Went over to the book and there was no pens, a few other people did the same so we just ended up stood in the middle of the counters penned in like sheep waiting in hope someone would come over to said book - they didn’t.. There were 2/3 assistants at a time on the counter who were too busy talking, making themselves look busy and walking to and from the counter. After waiting nearly 20 additional minutes with no progress I gave up and left the store, others did the same. Very slow service and very disappointing considering the location. The variety in store was okay but it’s very packed in and at times can feel very squashed. I had found a few things to my taste but put these back after such poor service at the counter. I wouldn’t recommend...

This location at 250 West 57th St does have a good variety of men's & wemons clothing and u do find stuff you don't see at TJ Max's in Brooklyn & Queens But BEWARE there employees are lying to customers asking them if they want 10% off to apply for the TJ Max Card wich the employee made it sound like it wasn't a normal credit card and I was specifically told that if I apply there will be NO! inquiry on my credit report! And there's a 90% chance I will be approved. I have a Credit score of 745 not only was I not approved they scanned my ID and I had to put my full Social security # and I specifically asked a female employee 3 times are you sure I will not have an inquiry on my credit report she looked me strait in my eyes and said NO 3 times! As soon as I stepped out of the store I received a message on my phone that I had an inquiry on my credit report! I went strait back in the store and returned all items and was extremely upset about someone lying strait to my face but more upset that now I have an inquiry that will be on my credit report for 2 years! Even the manager was rude and had this smirk on her face! Smh I believe they are running a scheme to obtain people social and info and selling people's person information for there own profits! This is a huge concern and BEWARE because of this experience I will no longer be going to this location if I could I would...
