Purchased a voucher from Groupon, thinking this would be a great place to get a massage but boy was wrong. Upon arrival, the front desk scanned my vouch for the service and charge me seven dollar Groupon tax which I had no issue paying. Issue arose after having to wait 35 minutes to receive the service and being escorted to a room that was dark. In this room, I was told to undress and get ready for the massage. Due to the place being so dark something told me to use my phone light to check the massage bed and surrounding area. to my surprise, all the towels laid on the massage bed were filthy. One even looked like it had skid marks on it. I immediately put on my shoes and informed the front desk that I would like a refund due to the unsanitary conditions. The front desk refunded my $7 tax and told me to contact Groupon for the refund for the voucher. Upon contacting Groupon, I was informed that the Merchant informed them that they declined the refund due to me having the service, which I did not. I am still battling to receive my refund from this spa even though it was filthy. I absolutely do not advise anyone to go to this spa. There are way too many other spas in the Bay Ridge area. It has been an awful experience with this business. I definitely would never recommend.

I had the pleasure of experiencing the “Special Combo B” at Taiji Royal Spa, and it was absolutely amazing! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was serene and inviting, setting the perfect tone for relaxation. The “Special Combo B” truly exceeded my expectations. The combination of techniques used during the session left me feeling refreshed, balanced, and completely stress-free. The therapist was incredibly skilled and attentive, ensuring every part of the treatment was tailored to my needs. What stood out most was the perfect balance of pressure and relaxation—it felt like they knew exactly what my body needed. The environment was clean, professional, and soothing, adding to the overall experience. I highly recommend Taiji Royal Spa and their “Special Combo B” to anyone looking for a rejuvenating and luxurious escape. I can’t wait to come back for another session!

I recently had an amazing experience at this massage place. Both Jenny and Mary were incredible! They really knew how to find and treat the knots in my back and shoulders, applying just the right amount of pressure without ever making it uncomfortable. The hot stone massage was also a highlight—it melted away so much tension and left me feeling completely relaxed. Jenny and Mary were attentive, professional, and clearly very skilled at what they do. I walked out feeling lighter, refreshed, and pain-free. Highly recommend booking with them if you want a truly therapeutic and relaxing massage!

I booked an appointment for an 1hr and 15min massage online for 10am. I arrived to the desk and was greeted with an attitude. I showed my confirmation text with the service I booked and the receptionist still could not understand. He immediately told me to pay before proceeding and insisted that I pay with cash instead of my card. I paid anyway with my card and proceeded to the back following my masseuse in front of me. The entire experience was rushed and environment was not clean at all. The massage lasted a total of 45min. After the massage, I walking towards the front with the masseuse eagerly awaiting a tip. Although I was displeased with the service, I gave him $14 cash for tip. The masseuse looked at me in disgust and spoke in his language to the receptionist (different than the previous receptionist that initially greeted me). The receptionist explained if I can add an additional tip to the card that I already paid prior to receiving the service. I politely declined and let the receptionist know that is all the cash I have on me. He then asked if I could use their ATM to withdraw additional cash for tip. I politely declined again and was met with unhappy faces that concluded with the masseuse and receptionist angrily walking away and signaling me to leave. I left the establishment confused and uncomfortable. I will never return to this establishment and I urge anyone to use precaution or to find another massage parlor other than...

The massage was okay. I went there with my family and we are not you apart of the Asian demographic so, they thought I in particular didn't understand them making fun of us in mandarin, but i did.

Another thing is... the mandated tip system. You cannot just offer a tip that you deem acceptable. Nooo lol.

There is a set mandated list which has three categories. 'Good, great and excellent'. And this is based on the time for each massage. For instance, a 60 minute massage, good is $11; great is $15 and excellent is $20.

Now, I'm not saying that shouldn't be given tips but i should have atleast been advised over the phone (and I did ask) when scheduling plus when I handed her a $10 at first, (I didn't see the sign at the front desk because it was blocked but a sanitizing station the mandated tips pricelist) she reacted so aggressively and she proceeded to let me know she wanted more money.

I do think though, even if I did see that sign and would have thought it would be a recommendation of tips pricelist because I've never actually been forced to tip a specific amount in my life.

Lastly, the oil placed on my back was wiped clean but not on my legs so my jeans was messed up, the whole day I walked around looking like I peed myself lol and I still haven't figured out how to get the oil stains out.

Would never EVER go back plus the massage wasn't anything special. Would recommend trying anywhere...
