Tishman Auditorium, The New School — Attraction in New York

I'm 190 cm (6'3) tall, and I won't attend any events in this auditorium anymore: There is less legroom than in the most horrible airplane seat I've ever seen. The rear panels of the seats are solid wood, so there's no cushion for your knees at all. I simply didn't fit into those seats; a total torture. I'm also not too fond of the acoustics: Noises from the audience get carried around the room too much. Took in a Times Talk featuring Samantha Bee and Jason Jones. Auditorium is beautiful with good sound. Although the seats are comfortable, the leg room is minimal. I'm just short of six feet tall and I wasn't very comfortable. If you are over six feet tall, I imagine that the leg room would be inadequate.
