Champion Pizza - 5th Ave — Restaurant in New York

I think this place is fantastic...the pizza was great. Many options. The haters on the other posts were probably too drunk to know what they were eating and consequently posting. Ask for Geraldine for your cashier/server next time you’re there. There’s something about her...not sure what exactly...but I can sum it up that she’s got this undercover superagent/supermodel disguise going on. When she was serving me, I thought I was getting pranked. Umm the “pieces did not seem to fit” if you know what I mean...and even more the rest of the staff was going along with it...smiling...laughing...giving me high-fives. Kinda like the movie The Other Guys when Mark Wahlberg goes to Will Ferrell’s house and asks his wife “what are you doing with this guy?” I felt the same way about Geraldine and this spot...In any event, sorry I went off topic about the pizza. I do t think you can go wrong...

I had come here after my class go eat a pizza and relax. now mind you, slices range from $3-$5 and i wanted to eat it there. now, prior i had gotten my period (i am a woman) and i needed to use the restroom. i go ask to use it and the guy tells me its a $10 minimum to use the br. i was shocked when i heard of this because it is such a disgusting and money-hungry rule to have. i proceeded to tell him i have woman problems and still refused to. i thankfully didnt pay and just left because no restaurant should have that rule if a customer is PAYING. i understand if you can only be a paying customer, but putting a minimum to use a restroom in a pizzaria? disgusting and evil. the owner and their staff should be ashamed...

Good pizza. Very tasteful. Different kinds of specialties pizzas. Their combinations are great. Small place but you can sit comfortably inside however you need to be vaccinated. A lot of famous people have taken pictures with the owner and they mounted on the wall. I saw a lot of celebrities and actors in the pictures. The owner either knows them or they have been there to eat. Either or, food was great, they have a 2 pizza and a drink special for like $6 and any pizza with toppings for $4.50 each. The pizzas are average size but made thin. It feels like you can eat like 3 of these before you get full. Everything else is good, the place is clean, decent and has a...
