By far the best florist ever!!! We used Ariston and worked with John for our wedding, not only did John put so much care into making sure all our wants and needs were met but we trusted him completely to create a day so beautiful and perfect! And we were blown away by the results! Our wedding ballroom looked like a dream come true the bouquets and centerpieces were stunning and people would not stop raving about them and every small arrangement was taken home with a guest!! John also decorated our cake to make it gorgeous! John worked with us to get the room designed beautifully with tall and short arrangements and he always worked to get us the best price he could because he cared that much about making us happy! He is a florist and a designer all in one, and in NYC you don't find that too often, it usually costs you for 2 different people! We certainly lucked out meeting John and we could not be more thrilled with the whole process of working with him and Ariston! The end results came out to be everything we had wished for and more! Food and drink are good and most staff is really nice; unfortunately I had a terrible experience that felt quite racially charged as I was the only one made to wait and spoken to rudely: a staff member (who I think is related to the owner) tried to lecture me after I made a mistake about my drink order (and I’d offered to pay the difference to which the cashier, who was very sweet, declined b/c I could have gotten a student discount and did not); then after being lectured, I waited for 10+ minutes and watched several people who’d ordered after me get their drinks. The rude staff member said he “forgot” my order and implied that I might not have paid or already took it. When I mentioned not liking the way I was being treated he said "I don't want to be an asshole but I don't know what you ordered". I assured him it was okay as I would not be returning to the establishment. Although the kind cashier remedied the situation and apologized, it wasn’t enough to make up for the way I was spoken to...

We choose here as it looked great but sadly the service wasn't. I walked up to the counter to hear a manager shouting at the staff, not sure why he was ranting as it was in a different language..whilst l was waiting to order this made me feel very arkward. He might not have been angry with the staff but they looked feared of him. Not a good look from the manager in front of customers. Twice the waiter serving got my order wrong, his attitude towards me even though HE got it wrong has resulted in this review. I bought three drinks and a cake, they knew l was sitting outside and still l had to ask that someone help me as there are no trays to use. Although l was given a cup when he got my order wrong, when he re-made my tea, he then slammed a paper cup down as a replacement!
