This SPA is in my neighborhood so Iāve been wanting to check it out. I walked in and the front desk girl asked what I want to do, I politely asked to see the services available. She tossed me a spa menu and immediately walked away after saying look at it yourself. I couldnāt even ask her what a ābody rubā consist of. On her way to the back she rudely said to the masseuse that came out, āyou go see what she wantsā. I felt like Iām a nuance to her rather than a customer. I asked for a 60 minute ābody rubā supposed to be a full body massage, no massage style specified but I asked for a focus on the shoulder and neck area due to stiffness. I added body oil for $5. The masseuse did not know how to massage, was clearly not trained and the entire hour felt like I was a turkey getting buttered for Thanksgiving dinner. She only knew how to glide across my back, arms, and legs with her forearm. The only time when she actually tried was tried wrong and she kept pushing the cartilage around my shoulder blades and I ended up getting a bad bruise after getting home. My husband asked if I got beat up or something. This is not the place to go to if you want an actual relaxing massage. The manager girl was super rude and mean, she kept bugging the masseuses every 15 minutes, either rushing them, asking what time they finish or telling them to step out of the room to take care of the front desk. Iāve never felt more uncomfortable at a spa. Definitely would NOT recommend this place to anyone. Itās cheap yes, but coming here is not called saving money, itās...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThey should have a sign that itās $15 mandatory tip for 1 hour massage. We tipped $10 (20% of $50 for 1 hour massage) and the masseuse asked for $15 saying that is the minimum and that the boss doesnāt pay them - they rely on tips. The massage was great and my shoulder tension felt loads lighter so I didnāt mind paying the extra $5 tip since itās within walking distance of my house. I went back a second time and the massage was a lot weaker, to the point that I almost fell asleep towards the end. My mother mentioned to me that when she went back by herself, the masseuse had commented that they save their strength for returning customers who tip well, but shouldnāt they be providing good service for a better tip? Needless to say, I wont be going back and would much rather commute to my usual...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent there with my husband a week ago on Sunday. We paid for 90min and looked at our watches right before laying down to wait for them to enter the room. When they were done, not only did one of them blur out "ok, 60min" but the 2nd person quickly corrected her "90min". However, once we got up and looked at our watches again...they only did 70min. As a customer, I'm not paying for the time I get undressed for a message, I'm paying and tipping for the full length of the treatment. If a 90min treatment was not possible that close to closing, WHY were we NOT TOLD that only 60min was possible!? There's a big difference in price between 60 and 90min, and they STILL expected a tip on top of everything regardless of them already stealing 20-25min from...
