Trade Fair is a mid-sized supermarket serving the East Elmhurst and Corona area of Queens. It offers parking space conveniently located to the main entrance of TF. At the main entrance are your isles full of fresh produce. At the end of the isles you'll find the deli and baked fresh croissants. Around TF you'll be able to find your selection of homogeneous food found in all supermarkets and then you'll find food compromised of the cultural taste of the community. The prices have always been competitive. Assistance finding something is lacking. You've got to catch one of the staff members in the middle of stocking shelves to find out where things are. Lines can be long. Crowding at peak times is a problem. Overall, though, I keep going back. No other supermarket in the area comes close to TF's selection of food and price.

DO NOT GO TO THE DELI HERE - They don't know what an Italian hero is first off. Second, if you explain the ingredients of the sandwich you want (salami, ham, provolone and vinegar) they will charge you full price and only give you half the ingredients (mine had no cheese or vinegar, when the guy literally asked me "ok so meat and cheese?") And then they will charge you FULL PRICE. Idk who is running the deli section but this is new york, we love our delis and this one is not worth your time, money or effort to explain whats in probably the most popular sandwich in NYC.

Free delivery & Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week might deserve a higher rating. They have a small parking lot. The market is targeted to the Latin community with some essoteric Latin and South American products. It is not at all like a Kroger or superclean & bright Publix.

Larger variety of lesser meat cuts like tongue & tail.. Rice, plantains, and limes are always on salle. Some restaurants must shop here from the look of some grocery carts. The store is tightly packed and frenetic.

The produce and the deli are great.

The best buys are the deli, the limited olive bar @ $5.99 / lb, the Latin croissants @ 2 / $1, (not bad if you toast them enough) Knorr boullion cubes, and the Halal products. Usually there are some good meat and dairy specials.

Couldn't get a can of pumpkin here at Thanksgiving, I usually have to go to another market after shopping here for what I might find in most any other market.

Soda is outside in a hot tent. The chips have been there too and some packaging is not up to the exposure.

Don't buy things that are not priced and keep an eye on the register. Mistakes are normal and always in their favor.

The most unusual thing is tip money for the checkers at the end of the checkout, had never seen it before coming here...Checkers are nice but may not speak English.

A fun experience, try it with this warning: Don't park in front where it looks like you can park from all the other cars, they might not get ticketed but you will pay the $100...

This is basically the only supermarket I go! The cheapest prices, great multi-ethnic selection. The fresh veggies and fruits are huge They have the sweetest papaya in the neighborhood. They could improve on the fresh grapefruit prices. I love the products from the Deli, all price range and house products are very good. The tuna salad is to die for. The croissants are tasty and not so buttery anymore. The bagels are great but rush for it! The eggs prices remain the lowest. Splurge on On Sale products like avocado (5 for $5) 2 weeks ago. The staff is doing great at restocking and is always very helpful. Even though the parking lot s a fantastic asset some improvement are needed on the cleanliness of the parking lot particularly under the shed; The handicap parking need more space on both side please!!!! And marking on the floor; As for display: beans, pasta, tomato sauce, cooking bakeware are in 2 locations. Beans, Spices 3 locations. Drinks are in 4 locations!!!! Some renovations and updating would be great! Small rolling baskets would be a plus. Signs particularly in the freezers needs updating. After all this a great supermarket! Go in...

Discrimination. The employees are nice but the manager was rude to me after I had explained that I have breathing problems wearing a mask. Granted I had an attitude since the beginning because no one cared about any type of medical condition that I may have. even though the manager himself was wearing the mask incorrectly. I showed him that people that have breathing problems should not be wearing a mask and he did not care. I should've recorded how awful he was but I was in shock at the fact that someone could be so cold towards another human being condition. I put the mask on but wore it in a manner where I couldn't breath better. In fact I wore it down to show him that I needed to breath.

He screamed in front of everything to not service me because I am '"disrespectful" thats a lawsuit right there.

If you have a breathing problem, asthma or whatever and you cant breath correctly do not shop here. They do not care about your conditions at all. They will deny you any type of service regardless...
