JD is amazing! Not only did I walk away with a beautiful work of art that will be a part of me forever, but I got to watch his entire process and see what a true artist he is. The care he took with my tattoo was moving and impressive. Because I was upright for this one (as opposed to lying down) I got to see he is entire process and all I can say is that I’m completely blown away. I came across his instagram and was immediately sure I wanted his work on my body forever. I gave him only a vague suggestion of what I was looking for and he came up with a piece that captured the heart and soul of exactly what I was looking for. Trust is a major element of getting a tattoo and I can say with certainty that you can place your trust in Juan to take your idea and transform it into an exquisite piece that he will place on your person with the utmost care and artistic reverence. The studio is chill and comfortable! While all the sanitation and health precautions that must be taken when tattooing were observed, the vibe was nevertheless chill and homey and did not have that sterile or clinical feel. When we finished up, for some reason my Uber was taking forever to get there, but Juan kept the studio open and stayed with me until my car arrived so I didn’t have to wait outside alone in the cold until I had a ride. I received a fantastic tattoo from JD at Glorious Tattoos.

I scheduled an appointment through his website and submitted reference photos, along with a description of the tattoo. He was able to get back to me with some clarifying questions to help with his design.

The shop was very clean, inviting and comfortable. JD walked me through his design and then we got set up for the tattoo. He was focused and efficient, and we were able to take breaks when I needed to. I was able to listen to an audiobook/music while he worked and he was communicative with me during the process to make sure I was doing okay. His work is meticulous and he really cares about the small details of the tattoo that bring it to life. I was blown away by the shading details and I couldn't be happier with how it came out.

He gave me aftercare instructions and then I was able to pay by card. I am so happy with how the tattoo came out and will definitely come back for more work...
