Was pleasantly surprised how much better this thermal has gotten airside. There's lots of food options, from fast to fast casual. Everything is still pricey but good to see we have choices. There's a United club lounge and a Polaris lounge. Not a whole ton of duty free shops but there are few. The lanes are decently wide so you don't feel crapped navigating to your gate. There are a bunch of seats with power plug (including USB-A and USB-C ports) and you can even order drinks and food to your seat. Free public wifi is available and it was speedy-ish (around 40Mbps in my test). The pre-check in area is still a mess. They have dedicated area's for Pre-Check, Clear, combination of the two and just regular screening. They are in totally different areas. Finding the right line is not the easiest in a sea of passengers. On my most recent visit lines moved pretty fast and security staff was very friendly and helpful.

This one is definitely a better experience than damp JFK where we had to spend 3 hours from landing to arrival hall. I recommend EWR airport and to avoid JFK if possible. Airport shopping options are fewer than many international airports though so I’d suggest not to rely on any last minute shopping here (terminal C experience)

Terminal C - Amazed with express service the way they have modified and no more shoes sticking out required. No laptop takeout required.

If you are looking to get a quick, cheap, bite in the terminal, I would highly recommend eating before getting here. United apparently renovated the whole terminal to make it an "experience." While everything inside was nice and shiny, the overwhelming feeling I experienced while waiting in the terminal was hunger and regret.

Hunger because every meal is probably at a minimum 2x what you would normally pay for outside the airport (sorry, no McDonald's here) so I spent a stupid amount of time trying to find something affordable and tasty. Regret because when I finally gave in to my hunger and ate at one of the fancy sparkly restaurants it was painfully obvious that my food was cooked by microwave and the meal I had just paid $20 for was something that you couldn't pay me $20 to eat again.

Also, those fancy iPads that you order your food from are a terrible idea. "Yes, let's have everybody smash their dirty fingers on the same tablet at an international airport right before they eat, you won't get sick, I promise!!!" Yuck. Eat before you come to...

UNITED AIRLINES IS VERY BAD: Terminal C is good . Customer care at united Airlines counters are less in number. They punish people for long hours and long lines if you need customer care help you are done waiting long hours. They need reform. United Airlines staff is merciless to listen to customer needs.

I was allowed two bags on Lufthansa Airlines on12.06.22 on flight UA7768 EWR - London, still they arm twisted refused to issue boarding pass and charged extra $ 100 on 2nd checking baggage. Even after showing the ticket clearly mentioned 2 check -in baggages allowed. They did not listen to my prayers. Landing at Mumbai loged complain for which they gave tracking No.37517642. 15 days passed they have not credited funds in to my account. Next time you book United Airlines think of getting robbed...
