Aesop Lido Marina — Attraction in Newport Beach

Went shopping for a Christmas gift with my husband, baby, and mother in law visiting from Italy. Not one of the three women working greeted us. And if youve ever been in this store, you’d know how difficult it is to ignore someone, because it’s as big as a walk in closet. It takes less energy to be kind and say “hello”. Even if you’re with another client (which not all of them were) it’s appropriate to say “hello, I’ll be with you in a moment” but not to say anything in this day and age is just weird. Needless to say we ended up going to Lelabo instead....

I love Aesop. I fell in love with their exfoliating hand soap (what?!) at Septime in Paris. I loved their shop in Paris. But I love the one in Lido more! Perfect location, perfect staff, oh, and be sure to ask for a cup of their store blend (but not for sale) tea if you're not offered one. Which you will be....

Due to COVID, they are only allowing one group in at a time and there are limited testers. However, the employees were super sweet and helpful. I usually wouldn't shop here because of the prices but I got an essential oil blend. The cashier gave my friend and I samples of skin care products to fit our skin...
