Folk Vintage Co. — Attraction in Newport

I was really excited to visit Folk Vintage Company, and planned a visit based on their advertised hours. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the store was closed, and there was no one around. We tried calling with no luck, so we came back the next day, hoping to check it out. The store itself is cool, with some unique items, but unfortunately, nothing caught our eye. Wonderfully curated vintage clothing store in downtown Newport. I discovered Folk Vintage on Instagram and I first went a couple weeks after it opened (wish I was there for opening day) and now I pop in all the time. Folk is always bringing in new merchandise and keeping inventory fresh. Visited this store with a friend this evening, trying on dresses and were treated unjustly by staff as though suspect. Recognizing our patronage was not appreciated we left the store only to be followed by staff. I have never been so insulted in my 60 years.
