Newport Racing & Gaming — Attraction in Newport

I've vowed to never set foot in this horrible place again, after such depressing experiences the last 3-4 times I went. The first few times I went 4 years ago, I actually had fun and won several times - even a jackpot handpay in July 2021. But something changed drastically in the past few years, to the point that most of the machines seemed to be turned down/set so low that it's continual dead spins on them with the frustrating teasing crap over and over. The machines tease you to death with that 3rd or 4th symbol needed for the bonus rolling right off the screen instead of stopping, like it should do AT LEAST once a night (not too much to ask, right?). The last 3-4 times I went there - (a 75 mile drive for me one way since I live in Ohio) - I ended up broke every time. It was so bad that I almost fainted from shock the very few times I actually got some kind of bonus during 5-6 hours of dead, boring play. And most everyone else there looked like they were miserable and about to cry as they kept hitting their spin buttons and getting nothing and/or the usual teasing bs. It seems that most of the machines are rigged anymore, which has to be against the rules and laws of whatever gaming commission controls the KY. fake-casinos like Newport and its sister Turfway. I've been there twice hoping it wouldn't be as tight and awful as Newport, but unfortunately it was, so I'll never make the long drive to either of them again. They've recently started sending me free play marketing mail trying to get me back to donate yet MORE money which I can't afford to lose, and it gets thrown out immediately. I think this place is pretty cool only downfall I see since I've been there is your tear credits I've been going there for almost 2 years and I'm still a beginner card and I never get no more than $5 free play and they told me it's because I need to be more consistent well I'm there almost every day I don't think you could be more consistent than that and I play 5 since 10 cents it never goes up they don't give you food credits I think that blows I think they just need to do more for people down there since people spend their money and there is a couple really nasty rude workers there not too many most of them is pretty nice and helpful and also don't like the fact that when you're there you get hustled people come up and try to bum money off of you or sell you some kind of bull crap but if you tell the guards they're usually on top of it but I only want two times since I've been there and I've only had my name called once out of 2 years but you'll hear the same names being called almost every event that kind of makes me wonder overall it's just looking for a quiet place to kick back and enjoy some fun that'd be a good place to go p but it's definitely quiet there's not too many people that go in down there anymore unless there is some kind of event step up your game Newport give people their free play they deserve and when I asked you for help you need to help him a little more than what you do instead of getting rude sometimes the blind guard that works down there is about the nicest person I've...

I used to like this place my money would last a lot longer and I would win some. I never minded that it's a smaller casino , most employees are nice but sometimes they interrupt my game with non stop emptying my ashtray , I guess they are trying to get tipped but it's too much . When someone is in bonus it's so aggravating but My big complaint is the last two weeks I've spent hundreds at a time equaling a thousand or more and only get tiny bonuses. Most people in there that I talked to believes certain machines are rigged.ive tried win player card in and out but notice certain machines are always glitching I spent 500 on fire work game in a two day period and only received tiny bonuses, almost always 20 or less.i had to spend two hundred just to get a bonus .Next day I played same fire work machine and the same thing happened . I had to spend hundreds to get small bonus and that's too big of a coincidence for my liking .i have spent so much money in here and can't win anything anymore. I go here because it's on my way home but honestly I'm thinking Hard Rock isn't much further and at least I can win a little . I think this place will go out of business if they don't loosen the machines some. I heard since new management it hasn't been the same but wow you have to let people win sometimes we can all have unlucky days but I go to other casinos often and this one os just way too tight...
