Amazing deals! I don't go often and forgot that not everything was 1.25$. At first I was thrown and annoyed but in the end everything i got was 1.25 (Christmas decorations are awesome right now). My husband walks in here a couple times per week (after planet fitness)and has such wonderful interactions with all the employees, especially the amazing African American woman that always makes me smile when I do come in and my husband always loves interacting with her.

Today was a stark difference and the the reason for the 2 stars. The elder white woman running the register this morning around 8:45 was painfully unfriendly. I left the line to walk outside because my husband loves to talk and tried to interacting with her and the woman ignored him completely... i heard him say, "I love halloween more then Christmas" (we were buying Xmas decorations)just to fill the air space... complete silence.... he tried a couple other things and this lady was not going to say a word to him...weird weird weird...that's when I had to walk out otherwise I may have said something--- hence the entire reason I do reviews- to avoid conflict..

But seriously this woman should not be working with the public. Maybe stocking shelves and back of the store work as we all need to feed our family... when i came in here to write this I saw "elder white woman rude" and that was just on my way here so clearly I am not alone in my feelings... beginning of the day and what a grump grumpy way to start

We have always loved interacting with the employees here so she is like a sore thumb sticking out.

Please re assign her elsewhere... i won't be back until he says she's done at the register as it's awkward to be in the presence of someone completely unfriendly especially when we are surrounded by happy...

Set my phone down while checking out today, not even thinking about it. A couple behind me ended up stealing it while I wasn’t looking and paying for my groceries. I was buying things to donate to the animal shelter today. I was turning to leave when I realized I left my phone sitting there and went to grab it and realized it was gone. The manager working there deserves a BIG raise.

She was so sweet and helpful, helped me stay calm and to not freak out, let me check the security footage and that was when we saw the couple steal my phone. I have all of my memories, videos, voicemails, and photos of my mother who passed away 2 years ago. I was completely distraught. She looked up the phone number for my phone company and let me call them and whoever else I needed to call. She also called the Newport police for me and made sure to get a cruiser to come and check everything out.

Eventually, maybe 45 minutes later trying to make sure my phone is reported stolen and shut down, the man who took my phone came back inside and asked if anyone had lost a phone. Acting completely innocent as if he didn’t steal the phone. Once it was shut down they couldn’t do anything with it so he decided to give it back. I broke down sobbing and the manager gave me a big hug and helped return everything I bought because I just wanted to go home after that. She was amazing, I cannot remember her name because I was in so much distress but she really made everything so much...

This is the third time that I have bought something from the store for somebody to have stolen the product out of the box. The store doesn’t uphold returns because I bought an empty box and I should have opened it before leaving the store is what I was told. I will no longer shop here at this location since the store seems to not upload their policies if I’m gonna keep purchasing empty boxes of stuff that either one wasn’t in there in the first place or two somebody stole before I purchased the item. The store chooses not to give you money back, even if you just make it out to the car and notice that the product is in there when you open it to use it on your car. Like they could’ve even walked out to my car and I would’ve let them searched my car. I wouldn’t have the reason to bring it back in and say it was an empty box...
