With the 1.5 years I was there, I had more professor changes than I did classes. First week the man who doubled as the internship coordinator, left without notice. A new teacher was selected, and was fired after my class finished due to be heavily intoxicated at 7am and yelling profanities at students.

Second semester was more on track, but got hit with the COVID epidemic, turning it into an online class. This is where the 1 star truly goes in to play. Poor technology usage, coupled with dry and inflexible classes made it an awful experience.

When the third and final semester rolled around, we started to return for in class workshops. And this is when we were supposed to seek out internships with the aid of our internship coordinator. The original was never replaced by anyone with competence, though out of most of the staff there was only one actually competent individual. As such, we were left on our own to seek out internships and the coordinator simply told us that we had to have so many qualifying hours within a certain time frame.

Even after graduation, I personally graduated near the top of the class, if not within the top 3 directly, it was discovered that anyone in the field we had studied for, HVAC, found our knowledge and teachings to be outdated, useless, and a waste of our time and money.

I would not recommend this institution, even their loan program that they forced me into with my parent's name on the loan, I was 24 at the time and apparently could not do so without making a scene to deny their involvement, their interest rate was set at the highest possible rate even despite my excellent credit score.

Overall, a waste of time, money, and wholly useless and you will get no respect from members of the field for your outdated knowledge. Join a...

I transferred after doing more research. But I went up to the school to transfer BEFORE my next semester started. They told me if I did that I would end up owing them $800. Which I did not understand why because I DID NOT get A PENNY of my refund that was disbursed to this school. Well I found out that I basically gave this school $3,167 for ONE MICROSOFT CERTIFICATION pretty much. AND I STILL HAVE YET TO RECEIVE MY CERTIFICATE ( PASSED WITH FLYING COLORS BTW ) AND IT HAS BEEN ALMOST A YEAR!!!! I DO NOT recommend this school to anyone!!! Yes the staff is friendly but who cares about friendly staff when they are con artists???? I went to visit ICT to interview for one of their programs, and had a great experience. From the moment I arrived, everyone was welcoming and professional. My admissions representative, Chad Sizemore, met me at the door, offered me a drink and went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and well informed. He took his time explaining the program in detail, answered all my questions, and made sure I fully understood my obligations and responsibilities as a student. It didn't feel like a sales pitch, compared to some other places I have been. It felt personable and like he actually cared about me as a student. Most importantly, he listened and asked me to highlight what I needed from their school in order to be successful and that really stood out to me. Hearing him explain how their school offers exactly what I need, made me feel genuinely excited and confident about my future.
