At one time I looked forward to shopping at this Farmers Market. I went every Sunday. As a person with disabilities it was an easy place to shop and I formed relationships with many of the vendors. And then I got a service dog. A professionally trained service dog who behaved perfectly well. And each Sunday I was stopped and told no dogs allowed. I pointed to her vest and explained ADA laws. And then I shopped. But the next week it happened again. And again. Until I was frightened by a staff person one Sunday and dropped my just purchased honey. When I again explained she wS a service dog and pointed to her vest stating that fact the man said " Chill out babe". Read moreThe no dogs allowed is ridiculous considering it’s outside. The signs which say no dogs allowed are small and only found after you walk through the market. The fact that they sell dog treats at place where dogs aren’t allowed is beyond me. The people there are extremely rude and demeaning.
