The Local Peach is one of my favorite brunch spots. I was introduced to it by my friend Lyndsey and it’s become a regular place for me when I’m in the area and able to get to it.
I live further away so I can’t really speak towards the accessibility with the hours but I usually also only do brunch on the weekends and they have always been open, with the exception of one time and that was due to illness. Idk about you but I was glad they weren’t cooking when they were sick so I didn’t get sick. I was bummed I wouldn’t be able to taste the delicious food at that point though :p
Every time I go to The Local Peach, I bring friends and they have always loved it as well. I enjoy their grits bowls, eggs, bacon, French toast, split pea soup, scones and pretty much anything. Sometimes they will have specials and you have to get there early or they may run out because they are popular.
Seating has always been easy. I did forget once that I had to get my own water and I asked a staff member if my friend and I could get water. She was gracious and got us water. I noticed she got it from a spot that looked like it was supposed to be publicly accessible so I apologized for forgetting that was the norm but it was all good at the end of the day. It can be a little confusing as to how to order/seat yourself but you just figure it out like other small brunch places 🤷🏻♀️
Anyways, all in all, love this place and would highly recommend :) oh! They also have a super cute shopping area for little trinkets, art...
Read moreSo. I’ve been driving by this place for months, peeked my curiosity so one day as I’m driving out of Downtown Norcross i said to myself, i will stop in soon. So yesterday was the day. It was a regular Friday day, just working from home, and decided to order lunch as I started getting hungry. Thats when I remembered so i went to check it out. Upon entry I didnt know what to expect, but was so pleasantly surprised. Was greeted by Bri and she explained everything about the place. Food is made with local ingredients, as they work with locals to source the foods. Then we started talking about the area and such, such a cool vibe! They also offer premade food to go and warm up, as a lot of us get busy and don’t have the time to cook, so brilliant! I decided to order the Southwest Chicken wrap, which was amazing, had some corn, cheese, bacon, oh so good! Got the hummus plate as well, we devoured it with the pita bread it came with. Lastly, the Mexican corn salad, that is a winner as well. So, we everything is delicious, and we need to run that place back soon!!
Bri & Nona, thanks for having such a pleasant and inviting vibe in our small community, loved the space and glad that i decided to stop! We will...
Read moreTotally out of ALL food halfway through the serving hours? How is that even possible except through gross incompetence. Out of an item maybe or even a few items but everything? Food that you can't have doesn't taste good and service that you can't get sucks after driving there and jockeying for parking, because they're so crowded. Probably an every day event so how can you be unprepared. Absolutely no excuses can be made for being that unprepared for your customers. I would never visit them again no matter how good their food is when they have it. Not to mention forcing us to take the kids and find some other place to eat when they had passed on breakfast just to be able to have brunch here. **Adding an edit after the owner's or manager's response. I think the response says it all. Clearly I was not misunderstanding the kid at the counter since other people have also said the same thing in their review and the response says all you need to know about how unprofessional the owner is. Not even an apology for being unable to serve a customer and becoming very defensive. Also, we never ordered anything. You weren't taking any orders so you don't even know which customer you're talking to. Your...
