Finally got to check out downtown Norcross’s newest pizza spot. We came to check it out at its grand opening which was a huge turn out but a long wait for a table so we waited patiently to come back. The new space is really nice and vibrant with a neon Savage light, a lounge area, super hero themed art work and a few arcade games. We had Savage Steve as our waiter who recommended the Cajun and Mai Pai pizza. I took Steve’s recommendation & ordered the Cajun pizza and my husband got the Pizza Buttafucco (Meat lovers) pizza. The Cajun pizza tasted more like a veggie pizza at the base with some protein toppings. I think I would have enjoyed this pizza more if the shrimp was more seasoned liked the chicken and the entire pizza had a more Cajun spice to it. My husband was really satisfied with his meat lovers pizza. He said this spot is way better than the pizza spot that was there before. We also shared the garlic bread sticks which were really good! Their bread hits differently! We both had to force ourselves to stop eating the bread sticks to make room for our pizzas. We will definitely be back & I’m happy for my husband that there is a pizza spot downtown that he actually likes. Thanks Savage Steve for your great customer service during our first Savage Pizza experience.

I was very excited to see a Savage Pizza close by when searching for takeout. The one in Little 5 is one of my favorite restaurants. This one, however, was a bit disappointing. Our pickup order was one large Pizza Fresca, which sounded and looked amazing via the pictures online. It was ready within the estimated pickup window, but the pizza was missing our added topping (banana peppers). Someone, who I believe may have been a manager, gladly took the pizza back to get fixed and rebaked. She was kind and attentive. I really wish I had inspected the pizza more, because it was still undercooked and lacking in flavor (soft floppy dough, vegs barely cooked and very little pesto sauce for a pesto pizza). This is nothing like the Savage I know and love! I really hope the quality improves at this location. As for the interior - I did not sit inside very long, but the dining area seemed uninviting and the lighting was harsh, especially after having walked in from the soft evening city lights. I hope to give it another chance after some time while (hopefully) adjustments are made.

I recently visited this new pizza place with a friend. We checked in at 8:15 pm, but we weren't seated until 45 minutes later, even though we were told the wait time would be 20-25 minutes. They did offer us complimentary pizza for the wait, which was a nice gesture. Our two small pizzas, each with 4 slices, took another 40 minutes to arrive. While the wait was quite long, the pizza was delicious and definitely worth it. Considering it was their grand opening, I can understand why things took a bit longer than usual. The staff apologized multiple times for the delay, showing they were considerate of our experience. However, the table we were seated at was not cleaned, and the restrooms were quite dirty. Since it’s a universal restroom, I would recommend having someone clean it at least once an hour. Overall, the pizza was pretty good and not pricey at all—quite affordable, actually. The staff was nice, which added to the positive experience. I would recommend giving them a try, especially once they iron out the initial kinks.

Ok, Ok, Ok...Listen to meee☺ When I SCREAM that downtown Norcross just hit the lotto with Savage Pizza as their newest pizza joint - I mean it! My co-worker and I were at The Crossing Steak House last Friday for lunch and we saw that the previous pizza spot had finally retired.. We said let's try out Savage Pizza next week and "Just Like That" it's Monday and we're hungry for Savage. We walked in - greeted by Nick the Gentle G💙, got seated and here comes Cute Kayla, she took our orders - we both ordered the yummy lunch special (personal pizza, side salad and drink for $13.99 C'mon with it)..Kayla brought us our drinks, salads and everything we needed. My co-worker and I waited patiently and we're discussing and saying things like "Please let this pizza be YUMMY, I hope this pizza is EVERYTHING". The suspense was driving us Cra-Cra!!!! Ok, Ok, Ok...here comes Nick with 2 personal pizza's,, 😮Huhhhhhhhhhhhh - OMG. Yoooo, let me SPILL the PIZZA! So, both of us ordered Pepperoni and we added Italian Sausage to our pizza's...Woo-weeeee - I see PEPPERONI'S** the presentation was just 2 beautiful personal pizzas (you can tell the Pizza Chef does not rush these pizzas - there's LOVE in every bite! The dough, The Cheeezus, The ingredients and Lawwwd.. The sauce - Whewwww!!! You just can't find GOOD OL' DELICIOUS PIZZA in Gwinnett County. Look no furtherrrr.."HELLOOO SAVAGE PIZZA" Yayyyyy..Bravooo! We have people like Kayla and Nick who are so AWESOME! As a matter of fact, Savage SAID IT FIRST..they have a sign outside that says WELCOME TO AWESOME!!! Shut the front DOOR🚪! Go Savage - Stay Awesome, I'm a huge Fan🤗! Thank you for your DELICIOUSNESS & YUMMINESS - I'm a Savage, ayeee😜 Kayla girl, we'll see you next...

First day in at this location (~14:00, timing it’s important for newer places) and let me tell you - Steve and Chelsea were, hands down, THE BEST. The professionalism and how personable they are, are unmatched. The service from both of them was top tier and they really made me feel like I was an old friend when I walked in. The space here is quaint, a bit cozy and I love that. I can see me becoming a regular just because of them. The food was very great. I built my own pizza and the word “disappointment” never even surfaced. If I had to choose between here and another pizza spot, this one wins - no competition.

Chelsea is just the sweetest, and most real person I’ve met. Expectations have been exceeded, she’s a doll.

Steve…Savage Steve, to be more correct, is just too good. If I could throw him in my pocket and take him everywhere I go, I would. He was my primary server, and I can’t wait to see what he can do behind the bar.

I’ll most likely update again after 3 months, just to ensure there’s consistency; however, I don’t have any doubts that them 2 will be absolute in their roles here.

I almost forgot to mention how attentive the staff is here. When they’re checking in on their patrons, asking specific questions to ensure and maximize comfortability, there’s a very careful level of care that goes into their work.

So sad… as a local of historic Norcross, I was super excited to have a pizza place within walking distance of my home. My wife and I went in Friday night to try it for the first time thinking that any opening kinks would be worked out after a week of being open, but we’re sorely disappointed. We walked in to a restaurant that only had 2 other sitting tables at the time but were informed that we were lucky that we had just missed the rush. We then ordered 2 small pies for dine in and after 10-15 minutes ordered another small cheese pizza Togo to bring home to our daughter. The food came out after a 20-25 minute wait and it was pretty good. The only negative thing I’d say about the pizza is that maybe the crust is a bit bland and could use some type of seasoning. Our real issue is that after paying our bill in cash and waiting for another 20 minutes we still had yet to get our Togo pizza that we had payed for. After maybe another 10 minutes a gentleman whom I assume was the manager asked if we needed anything and I informed him we just needed our pizza. He said he’d make a large for us instead and I responded we didn’t want to wait and I’d prefer to just get my money back. Instead he went to the kitchen and I guess went to go make one on the fly. We walked out without the pizza or our money back. Regrettable that we will not...
