I have been ordering business cards for a while. There have been multiple problems. I had to speak to a manager at least twice.
The last order produced an off center card.
I got a email a while back that they were out out of paper. Silence.
I waited and waited. I called today and was told that they were ready. That their obligation is one call. I neither received the call or a voice mail or email.
Totally unapologetic and totally unacceptable.
The latest is once again. 2.5 years ago, I ordered business card. No call. No cards. It seems to be a disgusting patter filled with promise, and very short on delivery. Even speaking to managers is fruitless.
Poor customer service. It's a shame because the people are so nice.
Once again I did my origin my my business cards and the result was completely and ability different than the original card that I gave them. I had asked to send me a demo. But the sales person Said it wasn't necessary. It was necessary if you look at the product. So now I have to make more trips to Staples and speak to the manager again and waste my time. I simply don't understand why my instructions are not followed. My English is extremely articulate and my demands are extremely clear. I am disgusted at this once again similar problem that I've had before for less few years. It's nice that the manager was able to take control over it and that they will probably fix it but not after causing me a needless anguish.
The print shop screwed my business cards. The manager who agreed with me before, changed her tune. I never got the call I requested. The design department and the manager hit a new low:. Incomplete and total stupidity. Both should be replaced.
The printing shop only gets worse. I ordered the replacement cards yesterday. I specifically asked how long it would take and ask that I'd be cold as soon as they were finished. That was supposed to be at 2:00 p.m. . No one called.
So I called about 6:00 p.m. and there was no explanation about the failure to do what they promised. I drove over there picked up the cards And I'll have to check them. When I was about to pay i noticed, that the man did not ask me about I reward card and when I was there earlier the same thing happened with a different person. As I thought about it, I realize that this was not unusual. This is poor customer service.
I like the manager, but the employees are not doing their jobs. As I said before they need new employees and better training.
I also went to the printers And I spoke to an employee. He had no clue because he took me to the ink section and when I asked him but particular printer, It was as if I was talking to a wall. The place is not all bad. It is convenient for me. I just don't understand why there are so many bad apples there when there are some very good apples or employees working at Staples.
Just when I thought they couldn't screw up anymore, I was completely wrong. I've been a customer for many years and spent thousands of dollars. every time I've gone through the last half a dozen times they couldn't find my prime rewards card. Today he just disappeared. And they looked at me with empty eyes as if there was something wrong with me. No. There was something wrong with this company. So I had to sign up with a new rewards card. Customer should not have to put up with this nonsense. I'm starting to believe that Staples is losing touch and if it wasn't the only store with kind it would probably go out of business. And it's a shame because they do have some good things going for them. But to suffer the check out counter and do something that takes 30 seconds take over 10 minutes and I had to get a manager. I really think that somebody should do an audit of this place so they can get their act together.
I must say that the last few times I've been there I was...
Read more9/29/17 2:30pm Literally fuming as I'm typing this review immediately following yet another horrible experience that I was subjected to at this location. The staff at the copy/print desk are totally unhelpful, not knowledgeable whatsoever, and the woman who was supposedly "running" that area was completely RUDE. They could not open a simple pdf file containing the image I wanted for a 2x4 ft banner which I needed for an exposition the next day. They told me I had to create and submit the order online. I get back to my office and proceeded to create the order. BTW: Good luck trying to use Staples banner creation software which is horrible and NOT user-friendly whatsoever. After toiling with the creation software, I tried to submit the order with "pick up at store" option and it would not let me submit as I was paying in cash at the store upon pickup (which they said I could do). I called the store and the woman told me that I was "using the wrong Internet browser" and needed to use another version. (They could have forewarned me about this at the store) Using another browser, I repeated the tedious creation process and low and behold-no option to submit order. I called yet again, and the woman proceeded to tell me "you better submit the order within 5 minutes because a large order just came in" That's it, I've had it with this store and with STAPLES all together. They did away with USPS shipping, the print and create website is horrible, and the print staff are useless and rude. All done with Staples and that taboo-laden No. Andover dump. Amazon, Target, Best Buy, even Wal-Mart offers...
Read moreThis place is really strange, so hot and cold. But I really felt I needed to write something. I have been doing jobs for my business here for years. I would say every single time I had to hound and call beforehand to make sure jobs were done well and right and most of the time they weren't. That being said it really seems like the MGMT of the shop is the worst part of it, such as HR/timing. Some of the young women there are very competent and others are just terrible both in training, production & customer service. The woman who I always see there is so nice to my kids but seems very passive aggressive and scattered. I just get the impression there is a whole host of problems here and I can never rely on it. I will be going to Minuteman press in andover from now on. I like to people chances but especially when they are so nice to my kiddos and giving them stickers, but if the jobs not done I can't rely on it....
