I am in trouble! I love this place! It's hard to decide where to start... so I'll start with the beginning. They open at 10 on Saturdays, and I pulled in at 9:50. There were 4 or 5 other cars there, and by the time I parked, a gentleman stepped out, held the door open and encouraged us to come inside. Never seen a retail place do this. You walk in and are greeted by other employees and there is a table with fruit infused water. My daughter and her friends were giddy to find out it was free (it's the little things). Here's my trouble... their products are amazing and exactly my taste. Next, they are very well priced. They have similar items to Magnolia Market in Waco and Gracie Lane in Arlington, and the stuff at Painted Tree is without doubt priced lower and still good quality. I have purchased adult and child clothing and accessories, along with some home decor. Last weekend I bought a dress for my daughter and 4 pair of fold-up neon sunglasses for her and her friends. When I got gone, I realized one of the sunglass boxes was empty and her dress was too big. I went back a few hours later, and before I got out of my car, I realized I left my receipt at home and my daughter had removed the tag from the dress. I went in, and wasn't even questioned for the tag or receipt. The young man remembered me from earlier and was very accommodating and offered his apologies for the missing glasses. 5 stars doesn't mean that an experience is without hiccups, but how a business reacts and corrects them is what will create loyal customers! My only complaint is that they didn't open a year and a half ago when we built our home and furnished it with decor and furniture from places further away and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhile I really enjoyed the walkthrough and their concept, the customer service is TERRIBLY disappointing. There were several items I wanted which required them being removed from the wall (i.e pictures/signs). I let one of the ladies/cashiers know; and after being visibly surprised by my request, she said they would get them down. I walked around for awhile, came back prepared to checkout and one of the pictures in the collection was gone. When I asked if she got it down, she said no, which meant someone else purchased it in the 30 minutes I continued shopping. They offered no apology and appeared to think it was funny. Perhaps, she thought I would still want the other items in the collection...wrong! You just ruined my vision, and in the process, lost what would have been a big sell (for you and the poor vendor) and potentially a regular customer. Hoping the vendor in J6 learns of this and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy wife bought a few items from here. After she swiped her card it read approved and the cashier told her it was denied and needed to swipe the card again. My wife pulled out the Mobil app and showed the transaction was pending so it was indeed active. My wife continued shopping and waiting on family to finish in the store knowing full well sheād already paid for The items while the store already had the money and holding the items not giving her what she purchased. On top of all that when my family was done shopping and ready to leave before allowing my wife to leave the store with what she already paid for in full they made her write down her name and phone number. What they did was uncalled for and stupid! Ps⦠statement from the manager, when some is pending⦠that means itās possible fraud! Thatās what she told my wife....
