This location has poor management and I sympathize for the servers! We walk up the female manager is outside socializing with the solicitors who are asking for donations as guests leave the restaurant. We walk inside and there is no host or greeter. The manager walks in behind us and asks "table for 2?" She's looking around and calls a host over to seat us, he says "hold on let me wash my hands" and walks away. The managers then looks to us and says "he will be right with you." And walks away instead of seating us herself. We wait for the host to return and he says "follow me." We follow him and he seemed lost or confused on the rotation so decides to seat us at the first available table which is directly in the sun. We are sitting there at least 10mins before a server acknowledged us and says "we will be right with you." The sun is already going down when a differnt server comes and introduced herself mentioned she was new and on her first day. She takes our appetizers order, drink order and disappears. Another 10mins go by and a different female brings our appetizers out, we still have no drinks. We are so hungry so we start eating without any small plates or drinks. We notice our server is at another table that looked upset, so we wait patiently while she handles whatever is going on over there. We finish out appetizers and a male server comes to ask if we are ready to order. We tell him we haven't received our drinks or bread yet, he apologized, brings our drinks and takes our order. The food took a while to come out, we noticed another table that had walked in after us received their food first. A different female brings our food out, still no bread and I never received my salad. She was also kind enough to bring us refills. My fiancé steak was over cooked and my salmon was so tiny! Super disappointed because we agreed to pay an additional charge for these menu items! By the time the male server checks on us we still did not receive bread and are ready to pay. He apologies, explains they have been waiting for fresh bread and brings us some, this was the main reason we decided to eat here! I have to mention the poor management! Within the 2 hours we were there, A manager never came to our table to check on us, did not do any table touching or interact with the guest at all. The servers seemed new and overwhelmed trying their best to keep up while the manager is standing behind the bar watching the game. I have pictures to prove it! We spent $100 on this meal & LOVE eating at Red Lobster but this experience was unacceptable and needs...
Read moreI come to Red Lobster about once a year to see if the service has improved. I was disappointed to find the waitress we had was the worst I've seen in quite a while. I asked for iced tea and sucralose. She brought saccharine. I asked for splenda and a spoon to stir the tea. She asked "what?" I had to repeat spoon several times and then explain I didn't want to stir my tea with my knife. She brought a soup spoon. Does Red Lobster have tea spoons? My daughter ordered the soup and salad unlimited lunch. The crackers were so stale I had to spit them out when my daughter asked me to test them. We asked the waitress for less stale crackers but it was obvious she just brought more from the same old box of crackers. The waitress only came by the table 3 or 4 times so after we finished the meal I asked my first tea refill. She brought the refill, picked up the plates and then disappeared for 15-20 minutes. When I finally stood up to look for someone to get us our check, I saw she was sitting in the bar area with the host from the front and several other people. I finally had to walk over to the host who was running checks out to other tables and ask for a check. I told him I saw our waitress sitting in the bar area and just wanted to leave. The waitress finally came over and asked if we needed anything. (LOL) and I said again. Check please. She finally loaded our check into the pay system at the table and then came over and proceeded to plug in all the information in the system. I asked, "Are you going to put in your tip too?" She replied ,"yes". I couldn't believe her answer so I asked her if she heard me and she said , "yes!" Then she set down the pay monitor and stood over my shoulder watching me. I asked "Are you going to stare at me while I do this?" and her reply was, "I'm not staring" but she continued to stand over the table and watch me. Finally my daughter said "thanks, we don't need your help anymore" and she left. I thought zero tip was appropriate but my daughter left her a tip anyway. I thought she was extremely rude, inattentive, unhelpful and unmanaged. Where was the manger? Who would let servers sit in a booth during the day with a restaurant full of people? Needless to say, I won't be returning and will be posting this review on all the favs. Added note, when I tried to send this information on the Red Lobster website, I kept getting an error message. You can't report...
Read moreHonestly this was going to be a good experience was looking forward to the food haven’t been here in over a year. Right as we walked in we were greeted and seated with out wait “Mind you there are 5 tables with a total of 9 guest in the restaurant at this time”. We sat there for a few minutes before someone came by to take our drink order and bring us bread I watched and waited for five minutes as my drink sat at the bar as the group of servers were talking. The server was only at our table long enough to get our order and bring the food back did not check in on us till I pushed my plate to the edge to show I wanted to pick a new $20 unlimited shrimp option. After I finished my meal and we were ready to ask for the check he brought it to the table placed it down and walked away. I placed a $100 bill on the check for a $48 bill and told the server to keep $20 when he returned with my change he placed it on the table as I was looking away and went to help another table. Instead of keeping the $20 he placed the $20 on the table and kept $31.85 when I attempted to stop him and correct it he quickly walked to the back room and waited till we left to come back out. I know he heard me say Keep $20 for your self because he repeated “Keep $20 okay back to me”
I will not be returning to this location and also will not recommend this location to any of my friends or family because of this. I feel like I was pick pocketed while dining here and I can not trust the staff to be honest. If I was unsure of what tip amount they wanted to give me I would have brought all the change back yo the table and let them do it.
Because I’m not a monster I will not tell everyone the...
