Haven't been to a Hooters in while so I stopped by the North Richland Hills location last Sunday for dinner. Horrible experience I gotta say. For the record, there were probably 5 waitresses working, and a bartender, but only people at 3 tables and 3 people at the bar. I walked in and literally stood for almost 5 minutes, being completely ignored by the snobby little girls working there, waiting to get seated. I even had the manager walk past without saying one word. So I thought to hell with it, I'll sit at the bar. I sit down and have to wait another almost 5 minutes until the bartender decides to quit talking about her personal life to the guy at the end of the bar before she decides to ask me what I want to drink. I order a beer and she quickly gets it, then goes back to the guy she knew at the end, never asking if I wanted to order food... although I was looking at a menu. After about 10 minutes, the two other guys at the bar, obviously having the same experience, yell over at her that they would really like to order now. She comes over, not thrilled, and gets their order then finally asks me if I want to order anything. I place my order and sit. I watch the staff being pretty short and snotty to just about everyone. My food finally arrived and I will say, my sliders were amazing, EXCEPT my frys were cold and tasted like yesterday's leftovers, but at this point, I'm just hungry. The guy at the end leaves and the bartender still mostly ignored me and the other two guys at the bar, texting on her phone, talking to the manager about gossip which I could hear, and even completely leaving for a bit. I used to love Hooters for the food and atmosphere, but it seems both have suffered hard at this location. From what I hear from friends, this is almost every location, but I can't say personally. I can say I will never step foot in this location again. The only reason this even got two stars was simply because my beer was ice cold and my sliders were great, outside of that, they don't even deserve one star. Upper management needs to get new staff that actually act like they want to be there and understand WHY people go there. My advice is stay away from this location...
Read moreWe have been once and the wait time to receive our food took forever and the food was cold. The table next to us were annoyed as well by the cold food and long wait for our orders, maybe would understand if it was busy but there wasn’t but 3-4 tables of people in the whole restaurant. My boyfriend likes the sliders so we thought we would try this location one more time and while eating our chips and queso came across a piece of hair in our chips (I have posted the photo in the photos of this restaurant) We were still charged for them & a manger didn’t even come address the issue or apologize. Yet again we had a very Long wait times to receive our order and it was between 8-9 pm on a Tuesday hardly anyone there. Our server chose to dip chicken tenders in sauce on the ledge area where the cooks put the food to be picked up to be delivered to tables. Extremely inappropriate to be eating food while your ONE table is waiting over 25 mins for 2 entrees. She noticed us looking at her eating and came and asked if we were good. Clearly we were not, we were baffled that a piece of hair was in our food and no in the place cared, we saw her showing the hair to someone else that worked there too. I have blonde hair, my boyfriend is bald and the hair was black so absolutely no way it was ours. The pina colada was disgusting and the whole experience was awful. We tried going twice and absolutely won’t be back. Far to many better Hooters in DFW so I would highly recommend avoiding this location unless you too want to experience what I and others have with poor Mangement, hair in food and long wait times for food when the store is dead and hardly any customers are there. We wish we would have taken our...
Read moreMy husband and I both had long days at work and just wanted some dinner. We entered Hooters and it was busy due to football. Understandably, as we also wanted to catch the game. We waited for a bar table to come available and then we were seated. Mariah was our server and was great! She was extremely busy but was on her game. Dinner was good and we ordered extra food for dinner tomorrow as I am a professional chef and a long day ahead. We ordered 100.00 worth of yummy food for take home enjoyment tomorrow. We paid, left, got home and realized we left the most important goody bag behind. We called and called with no success knowing the store was busy, I drove back hoping the Togo goody bag was still there. I entered and spoke to the manager Eric and explained about the missing Togo bag. He and our server weren’t able to locate it, as I feared, it had been thrown out. As I stood in shock for my mistake and realizing I had left 100.00 worth of food behind I was gravely disappointed. Eric offered to remake the food and pack it to go for me. OMG! Yes! I would have usually just blown it off but it was expensive and very important to us for our dinner the next day, so i thankfully accepted. I have been in the industry for over 30 years and definitely know how a busy night can be in a restaurant. Eric was running from end to end helping his staff and taking care of guests. My appreciation and heartfelt thank you is extended to Eric and his hard working staff for everything they do every day! Thank you for your empathy Eric, and understanding my position and making it right when it was my fault. May you all be...
