EDIT/EXPERIENCE DOWN BELOW: Jacob Valadez salesperson was a great help and a blessing in helping my son a vehicle along with his team managers, Finance guy Edgar Rios. Thanks AutoNation for amazing experience in making this vehicle purchase for my son a great one. Many blessings to you all. Great job
Edit: At first it was a great experience but after the vehicle being dropped off on 05/06/2025 on the way to deliver the car to my son to his job the tire went flat only 2 hours after being dropped off to me. We Called the dealership to ask what options we would have since it just got dropped off today 05/06/2025 and has been in servicing/inspection stage for 4 days since Saturday 05/03/2025 until today. We were told the car was dropped off in good condition the driver didnt notice anything on the way to drop off to us so they are not responsible for anything that happened. They are not obligated to fix it or willing to fix it even though, before speaking with the Sales Agent i was told by Carrington in the scheduling department that she spoke with the sales supervisor ( David) and said they would be happy to order a new tire for the vehicle and wouldn't have any issue getting it taken care of. Then i get put on hold for her to ask another question and after this game of telephone with her going to ask and relaying a message on the phone for the third come back to the phone we finally speak to Jacob (Sales agent). I relay what she said he proceeds to tell me he or his Supervisor Never said what the young lady i just spoke on the phone with said. He said she must have mixed up his words and that they dont have anyone who works there with that name ( so who did i speak to when i called the Dealership phone number a ghost ...). So it felt as though the good customer service we had on the initial visit was to pawn off a car that was not selling to someone who was in the market for there first car to make a quick buck would not advise doing business here unless you want your time wasted. Also David the "Sales Supervisor" was not very approachable on the situation was very short an cold he has no customer care did not ask why we were not happy with the purchase he did not try to save the sale or offer any compassion he was short and just plain rude took no accountability no apology for the lack of professionalism on there part. Also remember we said they "been servicing the car since Saturday 4 days as of Tuesday today" to have it all ready. When it was dropped off today the windshield fluid was low the tire tread was at an unsafe tread level and the quality of the tires just looked dangerous and smooth no grip and was not replaced. As well all tire pressure on the car was low and popping up on dash. We get it was not a brand new car but there is still a certain level of human respect you should have for people purchasing something with there hard earned money, to not take any pride in the vehicles you sell and just give out whatever and hope the car sticks and not take pride in your customer care is just baffling and disappointing. So we rescinded the deal thankfully and took the car back Do not do get a car here and or if you do be very cautious and make sure you really comb through everything on there used vehicles because they dont and make sure when they say they will do something that they do it because once you drive away they are handsoff and want nothing to do with you and give you the old " its your problem now' . All customers matter whether they are buying used or new so hopefully you guys remember that and treat people with more kindness and care in the future 4 days after buying a...
Read moreUPDATE- I was hopeful I would be able to return and edit this post on a more positive note, sadly that is far from the case. The dealership did make right after the initial review and cut me a check for the oil leak that was coming from the valve cover. This was because I had just purchased it and the warranty does not cover oil leaks. Fast forward 6 months later and surprise surprise it is leaking oil again and this time from the oil pan. Guess whats not covered and cost 3100 to fix. The wheel hub assembly's also need to be replaced, which is being covered. There is a laundry list of things that are needed to the tune of 6k! Yup you read that right. If I was to go ahead with the repairs, total repairs costs (including what was covered by the warranty and what is not) would be close to 10k. 10k worth of repairs in under 8 months of ownership on a 14k car. I am not sure what type of mechanic they have that looks over the cars they sell, or if they look at them at all. This is the absolute biggest nightmare of a car experience I have ever had. Worst part is my son has to get to school and work, what 18 year old could ever afford this.
Original post-Just purchased a vehicle here March 18,2023 , it is already in the shop! I went here for the selection as well as what I thought was a reputable dealership. "We thoroughly inspect" yeah right. I even purchased a warranty for $2600. This vehicle was purchased for my son, who not only goes to HS full time but works every day after school. Within the first month my son frantically calls and says it overheating. Told him to come straight home. You can see from the pics the stream of coolant that was pouring out just after he arrived at the house. Took it to shop and was told the radiator needs to be replaced as well as it had an oil leak. The warranty company is terrible to get ahold of. I, as well as the service tech have each called 3 times each to get a basic response. I called the dealership as the repairs are around the 3k range! I have not received a call back. I have now been informed the radiator will be covered but the oil leak will not??? Wait, what I have not even made the first car payment yet. I literally got the plates yesterday, which I had to pick up while the car has been in the shop all week. I even told the guy that walked me over to the plates pickup desk, it was already in the shop. He walked away pretty quickly after that one statement. I bet if I said I wanted to buy another car they would have 3 guys running over to greet me asking me what they can show me, and if they can bring me a bottle of water. This vehicle has been undriveable for almost 2 weeks, 2 weeks and I have owned it roughly 45 days! What the hell did I pay for? The oil leak was discovered when looking into the overheating/radiator problem and it is not covered for a car I just purchased? The worst part is, this for my son who was so excited. Buyer beware! I wish I could give the car back!
Edited- vehicle is back in the shop as it was still overheating after last repair. Son sitting on the side of the road prom night to let the car cool down. I have contacted Bruce the GM and he had the tech call me. Tech said he would get info from service department/ mechanic. They have called him several times with no call back. My son is still without a vehicle. I just made the first car payment and it’s not able to be driven. Can...
Read moreI came to bring my truck in for an expensive repair. I brought it because you can trust a reputable company with certified service (at least that’s what I thought up until now). Aftermarket mods were messed with and had to get stuff replaced. They only deal with factory parts. If you have aftermarket mods done, do not bring it here. You will just have your aftermarket stuff tampered with and they will hit you with "well we are factory trained only and cannot fix it". Was advised by service director Brad that reimbursement difference would be made and to just show them the receipt from the shop that fixed my aftermarket mods. After e-mailing multiple times, I was contacted by Steve in service that they are not going to stick with their word and refund the difference (makes no sense as his director told me otherwise and to bring receipt to make price adjustment). Now I am at a loss when I had to pay about $757 to get my truck fixed properly because Autonation does not deal with "aftermarket equipment". This is not the first time an aftermarket thing has been messed with and I continue to get screwed over. Same thing with my rims when they lost my center caps when I got a tire rotation and used the same excuse "we do not deal with aftermarket parts". If you are going to come here, only thing I would suggest is an oil change and warranty (make sure vehicle only has stock parts). Any other repairs, you might as well take your business elsewhere. Just because they are "certified" does not mean anything, just warranty purposes. It does not take a certified technician to know how to screw in a center cap when my 6 year old nephew can do it. Not sure if they have a blacklist of customers who they should keep screwing over, but it seems like any time I come here, I get screwed over in one way or another. Only time I had decent service is for a simple oil change and that's it. Everything else has been a nightmare to deal with and you would expect better service when you have brought your truck for every repair over the last 7 years. I understand they just want their commission but if a mistake is made, it should be owned up to. I shouldn't have to bring my truck for "certified service" and leave with tampered equipment in my truck. These guys are supposed to be reputable, but after this I cannot trust them any longer. Service department is a big disappointment that does not honor their word. My business will be taken elsewhere after all these bad...
