
Self Made Training Facility (SMTF) is a top notch facility to go if you’re looking for help reaching fitness goals. All trainers I’ve interacted with are professional, especially Jonathan Nossa. As a veteran of both the Marine Corps and Air Force, Jon displays character traits that you’d expect from someone with 20+ years of military service. He is always available and self-improving so he can better serve those who he trains. His plans are written out for you to follow, and will go in depth as you want (nutrition, workouts, etc). At the beginning of the month he already has a plan for the weeks ahead, but can adapt on the fly as necessary to meet current needs or to refocus on something that may need more attention. If you’re unable to come into the facility itself, Jon will write-up workouts that you’re able to complete on your own (if you have the self-dedication and mental fortitude).
Jon is also more understanding than most, and understands that life happens. Jon has had clients poached due to their constant fraternization with other trainers, looking for the best deal possible. He has accepted these clients back from the good of his heart, only to have them prove to be exactly what they’ve been in the past. However, this has not stopped him from working his hardest for the clients he does serve. Jon has my friendship and my business for life.
Any negative review of Jon most likely comes from immaturity, and most likely comes from the type of person that would leave him for another trainer in the same facility, only to ultimately return… then attempt to blast him for wanting to use him more but...
Read moreThis place is an absolute gem. First and foremost, the cleanliness of SMTF is seriously impressive. I am a stickler for a tidy environment, and let me tell you, this gym passes my cleanliness test with flying colors! The people here are also just top-notch humans. The trainers and clients at SMTF are like one big, fitness family. It's impossible not to feel the positivity and kindness radiating throughout the space. Lexi, my personal trainer, is an absolute rockstar! She not only crafts workouts that challenge me in all the right ways, but she also takes the time to explain the 'whys' and 'hows' behind each exercise. It's like having my very own fitness guru who truly cares about my progress. Lexi is a shining light in my week, no doubt about it. Her infectious energy and genuine enthusiasm make every session feel fun, even when I'm sweating buckets! She's not just a trainer, she's a friend who pushes me to be the best version of myself. I can't express how much my health and wellness have improved since joining SMTF and working with Lexi. I've seen incredible results, both physically and mentally. If you're on the hunt for a gym with trainers who genuinely care about your well-being, and an atmosphere that exudes positivity, SMTF is the place to be. Read moreI am proud to say I’ve been working with Alyssa Drown and Paige DeCrane for 10 months now. Built Training Facility has helped me grow in my knowledge of training and push my body to do things i thought to be impossible. Alyssa excels in working with people of all abilities, ages, personalities and backgrounds. Paige knows exactly when you need a pep talk and when to break complicated movements down. Both of these ladies are extraordinary at reading your body language, asking about food, sleep and stress for the week and adapting your program accordingly. I am so lucky to have found trainers that make it easier to accomplish the goals I’ve set for myself.
