ALDI — Attraction in Oak Creek

Absolutely terrible customer service, did a pick up order and was sitting outside for over 10 minutes when I was told I needed to come inside to pick up my order. I have an autistic toddler so I’m not just sitting in my car to be lazy. I’m sitting in my car because it’s a transition issue for my daughter to go from one place to the next, but when I went into the location, I was told by the new young male cashier that he was just a cashier and the manager was right there, she really didn’t seem to give much of a crap about what was going on either. She called someone and kept working. If this is the way that you treat your customers who use pick up, I will never shop here again. My daughter’s disability should not have even come into play and my order should have been brought out in a timely manner. Also, because there’s no phone number to call and let them know that I’m outside the only option was to wake up my toddler and go inside. Tried curbside pickup for just the 3rd time in 2 weeks and was greatly disappointed.

First, when did they start charging for curbside? The last two times I didn’t get charged, but this time I did and this order was larger than the last 2 combined.

What was really disappointing is that I paid for curbside but didn’t get curbside service. I sat in my car for 15 minutes without anyone showing up. Eventually, the app told me to go inside to pick up.

I go inside and there’s only 1 checkout person, 1 person leaving and that’s it. Waited a couple of minutes when a lady came out of the office and asked me if I needed anything. I told her I’ve been waiting 15 minutes outside and the app told me to come inside. She radioed but no one came out for a couple of minutes.

Finally, someone came out and asked if I had an order. My order wasn’t even loaded into a cart.

No one apologized; just nothing at all.

This is a relatively new store. Like all stores, one must be a smart shopper when shopping at ALDI'S. They are competitive on some items, even on others and overpriced on others. We purchase our Almond milk from the ALDI chain. The 30 calorie per serving, 64oz is priced @ $2.29 ea. as compared to the name brand s that are about $1.00 a container or more. I like to comparison shop online and make a list for the stores that I am going to shop at. All of the major chains in S.E. Wisconsin allow me to look up an item's price so I can decide which store I will buy it at.
