Sand Sculptures — Attraction in Ocean City

I have gone to OC on many occasions and I have seen this every single time. The first few times around it looked awesome. Over the years though it seems like nothing has changed. The sculptures are always the same. The artist never changes it. From what I have heard, the artist uses this place and sculptures to preach but I really haven’t seen it. Not everyone wants to see religious nonsense when on their vacation. There is a man that preaches here loudly as well. I wonder how they would take to a Muslim or some other religion doing this? This is totally inappropriate for a public beach.
