Boardwalk One — Hotel in Ocean City

Dirty. Was cleaned again by staff. Room still was not clean. This is a time share location, self cleaning is understood. Our room was not clean. I called the front desk spoke with staff, who were kind and quick to assign a time for recleaning for the very next day. She informed me that the maintenance team reviews the cleanliness of the room after each check out and approves it for the next guest. Once the 2nd cleaning was done I returned to the room. The smell of bleach was in the air, the room still dirty. So, I took it upon myself to clean. Dried condioner along side the tub from previous guest, soap build up on bathroom shelving above sink and towel rack, stove top grime at rim of burner guards, this was easily removed with a wet paper towel. Built up dirt/grease on stove top knobs. Finger prints and dirt stains, the type that builds up over time on kitchen cabnet doors. The type of kitchen grease/dirt build up in high use areas that a lived in personal residence kitchen would accumulated over time if not thoroughly cleaned at least every 3 months. Something dried up and spilled on the TV screen. Mirrors and sliding glass door spotted/finger printed. Settled thick dust throughout the room that had to be removed with a warm wet cloth, dry dusting wouldn't get it. Food crumbs and dust on shlef/headboard of both beds. Floors not cleaned. Dishes with dried up food still on them. Again. It's understood that guests are expected to clean after each stay. This type of unclean was not just that from the previous guest. It has built up over time due to continuously grazing over with a broom and a light wipe down. Location is good for being directly in the action, the small outdoor pool is a good reprieve from the beach. The cost does not match...

We stayed here for 6 nights and 7 days. The place looks cozy at first but seems really chinzy. On our 2nd to last day (Friday morning) Arocon (sp) company started stomping around at 630 am only to find out after complaints they should not have been there until 9am. They banged so hard up on roof (We were on 3rd/top floor) that an overhead vent came flying out of ceiling and dust and debris fell into our bags and on couch and tv. There were 2 creepy guys that hovered around laundry service late at night (one is a timeshare owner) trying to make conversation with different females. 3 of the 4 females on our group encountered him in our week long stay. We found out several people.made complaints about the contracted company working on roof. There was garbage galling from roof all day, they left roof access door unlocked and clogged up the elevator on the one side of the building. I can't blame the condo place itself except to expect more...

The ladies in the office were super nice. The location was right on the boardwalk. We did have to go on the side street to get to the boardwalk or walk up a flight of steps(or use elevator) to be able to get to the boardwalk from the inside of the front building. The parking is horrendous, they have very limited parking. The small garage spaces under their building could not accommodate our vehicle. The tub had mold and water buildup beneath the tub under the liner. It felt like you were showering on a waterbed. This hotel prioritizes timeshares so we had to move rooms for our second night stay. When leaving you have to strip the linens from the bed and place them in the bathroom and take out your trash when you leave. Overall I will not stay there again.
