Caribbean Pool Bar — Restaurant in Ocean City

Went to grab some food and drinks before going on the boardwalk because my friend and I heard live music — which was great! The food came quickly (there was only one cook) and it was delicious, the only problem was the service. Our server (name was Nikole on the receipt, but i’m not sure if that was our bartenders name or not) seemed more interested in the male customers and was almost ignoring us. I understand there were other people at the bar that needed waited on as well, but she walked past us multiple times empty handed (so not taking drinks to anyone) and would ask the people next to us if they needed anything and then walk away from us as we started talking. Then when it came time to ask for our bill (which took her about 20 more minutes to grab). We sat our card down with the bill to wait, and wait, and wait. Eventually we left cash because she walked around and around without even glancing at us. She was incredibly rude and short with us. None of the other bartenders offered any help either, just looking at us and walking by to tend to other customers, who again, happened to be all male. Some of the worst service I have...

Drinks are great. They are very well-mixed and just the right strength. We went there multiple times this vacation. In the daytime, although it is busy, the staff is very friendly and provides quick service. At night, we arrived at 10:50pm when the closing time is listed as midnight. We were told it was last call. The staff appeared to be frustrated to have to make a drink at this time because I could tell they were in the process of cleaning up. However, I saw other people order drinks after me. Once I received my drink, I did not feel rushed to leave the establishment. They let the patrons sit and chill as they continued to clean up, which was nice. I will definitely be back next time...

This used to be our favorite lunch spot and once had really good food and fun atmosphere. This year seems all that has changed, food quality is extremely poor. The chicken tenders are a low quality filler meat not actual chicken, words can’t express how disappointed we are. In addition there is no longer a discount as there always has been if staying at the plim. Horrible food and horrible service, once a place we would visit daily is on our do not return. The waitress said the pool bar is under new management, you should change back as they are ruining this once hidden gem.
