Escapomania Downtown - Escape Room — Attraction in Ocean City

After personally completing all of the uptown rooms over the last couple years, I thought that sticking with the company was a smart idea. We had a bigger group so we went with fallout bunker because it was advertised as a 10/10 difficulty. We finished in 20 minutes without any clues, leaving the room very confused. The gentleman that worked there acted awkward when we came out because he could tell we were unhappy with the experience.

We are not completely new to escape rooms but most of the (not even max #) group had only done a couple before this. My fiancé and I who have the most experience sat back mostly to let the rest have their time with it. This was far from a 10/10 difficulty and 100% waste of the time driving and money spent. Honestly it wasn’t even worth the money we spent parking the car.

Just advertise the room as the 4/10 difficulty that it was and let the groups that would like an easier room enjoy it. Otherwise, you’re taking money from customers just to inconvenience their afternoon for a few minutes and leave them annoyed and ticked off for longer than they were even in the room. We had a harder time finding parking than “escaping”.

I have talked up, and will continue to talk up, the uptown location and recommended it to several friends and coworkers. I even spent part of my birthday this year doing the great heist room which was really neat. As far as the downtown location, or at least this particular room, I could not be more disappointed along with the rest...

My multigenerational family had SO much fun doing the wonderland escape room together. We were a group of six with two boys age 7 & 10, grandparents and parents and the clues were the perfect amount of challenge. The room was really interactive and had great surprise elements. It took us the entire time but we escaped the room and felt happy and accomplished at the end. Had a technical error happen during the game. At first we were very upset because it killed the vibe of the game. I was completely amazed how the staff handled it. Wonderful customer service ! They handled my family very professionally. The game it self was very fun we did Sherlock Holmes and Mad Lab... They both were very good. Mad Lab was awesome and different from the normal. Definitely recommended this on a raining day or evening...
