Tldr: This tour was surprisingly informational in terms of history, the alcohol was tasty and generous, tour guides were friendly, and the price was good. Parking is plentiful. I was a part of the 11:00am Thursday tour.
Tour: The tour began promptly and right from the start there was lots of interesting knowledge to be gained. This tour was the right amount of interactive having you punch a time card and negotiate for your alcohol. This tour was very prohibition era which can be over done, but what sets this apart from the rest is the amount of true-to-time-period artifacts that can be found in building. As someone who doesn't have a huge interest in alcohol I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of history and antiques that were Incorporated into the tour. The facility is small so it makes the experience more intimate and unique. Plenty of opportunity for pictures as well. My father is obsessed with old doors, and he was not disappointed on this tour. My only note is to please arrive promptly to not disturb the tour.
Tasting: Considering this tour is only $15 the pours were very generous. Someone who really appreciated alcohol will really appreciate this final part of the tour. This tour was unique as they let you choose 3 shots from a lost list or a variety of their products. I had the orange vodka, Spiced Rum, and Berry Vodka. Be warned the Berry is sweet like syrup so that may or may not be in your interest. My only dissatisfaction on this tour was that the seats here at the bar were a little unstable.
Staff: Our tour guide Sierra was cheerful, warm, outgoing, and well informed. The other staff we interacted with at the front desk and bar had a great sense of humor and we're very nice. You can tell the staff in general are good people because when the guy washing the bottles with the man bun took the lift into our tour he tried to wait it out to avoid interrupting our time. I feel like Sierra did an especially good job considering we were a morning tour and our group in general wasn't very interactive. That can be something especially difficult to overcome and she did it in strides. Her jokes were really funny and she woke everyone up by the end.
Products:After the tour you'll find yourself in a gift shop where all alcohol will be 10% off. They additionally have clothing, hats, storage boxes, shot glasses and other drinking accessories for purchase.
Parking: There is plenty of available parking with many signs guiding you to where you can park. At night be more wary of wandering pedestrians. Anxious drivers can rest assured you will be able to park pretty easily and without fee.
Overall this was a really great tour. I used to associate Secrets as a low quality brand, but this tour changed my perspective. I would recommend this to anyone looking for something fun to do in Ocean City. Please remember to bring cash and tip your guides, they work hard to bring you this...

Read moreI wished I read the negative reviews first. We went to visit my son in OC. My wife and I wanted to visit this place because we hadn't visited one in MD yet. We've been to hard ciders, breweries, and distilleries in most of the eastern states, NY to GA. Before we left, I forgot to book a tour, even though $15 is a little pricey for a tour (most are free or couple of bucks). I was excited when we got there, but wasn't for sure where to go in. It didn't feel very welcoming. I went to what looked like the main door because it stated tours on the hour every hour. No other information was posted. When I opened the door, I accidentally bumped someone inside. They were currently having a tour. The guy behind the desk sternly asked, "Can I help you?!" I replied, "I was wanting to do a tour?" He points outside, says nothing. I exited, and heard a "click" behind me. They actually locked the door. I go to a guy at the end of the street in front of what looks like a bar. The guy was checking IDs, great guy not to mention, and asked him about the distillery tours. He replied to call and looked for a number. He didn't find it, but stated to just go inside and ask. I told him I did, but the guy at the desk looked at me stupidly. He chuckled and just kind of said, "Yeah..." So this obviously this wasn't the first time this has happened. This place just seemed like a tourist attraction and doesn't make their money on the booze. My son has never seen me get so mad about an establishment. I'll never go, but if you do, make sure to book a tour....
