BC Clark Jewelers — Attraction in Oklahoma City

Updated. The manager of the store reached out and appolagized for the service. She noted new policies and procedures will be going into place to prevent this from happening again. I appreciate them taking ownership of the issue and looking to make improvements.

How you do anything is how you do everything. I trusted them with something small, I'd never trust them with something big.

I was given an older TAG watch by father as a birthday gift. It was in good but not great shape and was a little small and needed a link. I took it to BC Clark to add a link, replace the seal, and give it a good clean.

I took it in and they noted they would need to order the link so it would be a week or two. I get a call 3 weeks later that it's ready.

When I get there, I put the watch on and it's the same size. I asked what link is the new one, and they insist its there and take it to look. They take it to the back and after 10-15 minutes come back and say they in fact forgot to order the link and it would be another 1-2 weeks. They ensure me they will get it right this time.

1 week goes by. Then 2. Then 3. No call. Finally I call them and am informed the watch repair department is to busy to talk with me but they would call me back. A day later I get a call and my watch is ready. At this point, I'm a little upset that they had this ready and just didn't take the time to call and let me know. I was really excited about having and wearing this watch, and it's now been almost 2 months since I dropped it off for a very simple job.

I go into the shop and they bring me the watch. I try it on and it's still the exact same size. I was in disbelief. What have they been doing with my watch for 2 months?

They take it to the back again and come back 10 minutes later. They have forgotten to install the link this time. Why they told me my watch was ready and what they have been doing with it, I still don't know. 5 minutes later and they bring back my watch. At that point, I have my best experience with BC Clark, walking out the door.

Perhaps this is my fault in trusting someone like BC Clark to do such a small job. They clearly had more important things to do than take care of my watch. Or perhaps this is the problem with BC Clark. There is always something else more important. Buying a TAG? We'll thay guy is buying a Rolex so your not very important. Buying an engagement ring? Well the couple over there is purchasing a diamond twice as twice as large.

In our fast-paced world of online shopping and high tech immediacy, I’m grateful a store like BC Clark Jewelers exists and maintains traditions and excellence for its customers. The services provided with complimentary gift wrapping, house charge accounts, and their generosity with support in our community to nonprofits has made me a lifelong loyal customer. The Clark family treat their staff like part of the “family” and have a beautiful tradition of being closed the day after Thanksgiving so everyone can enjoy family time. I’ve been working with the downtown B.C. Clark location for several months now, and they’ve been fantastic — helpful, polite, and transparent about wait times for the Rolex models I’m interested in. They’ve made the process enjoyable and exciting, and I truly appreciate their service.

While in the area recently, I stopped by the Grand Blvd location to see what was on exhibition. I was greeted warmly by the security guard, who was friendly and welcoming, but my interaction with the sales associate felt rushed and distracted. The wait time information I received was also quite different from what I’ve been told downtown, which left me a bit confused. I completely understand these are high-demand pieces and that the store can be busy, but I was hoping for the same level of engagement and clarity I’ve experienced downtown.

I’m still looking forward to purchasing my Rolex through B.C. Clark and wanted to share this feedback as an opportunity for improvement.
