Great in store experience salesman was nice furniture looked ok. We bought and had them deliver the delivery drivers were kind of polite just hurring threw the assembly and stuff. We found it was damaged and since it was a late evening delivery they were closed. We called the very next morning it has been a month now still trying to get them to repair or replace with no luck. I would have gave them a five star review but the service after the sale is horrible. This has been a lot of run around and getting pretty old. I would recommend spend a little more and get it from a reputable store and not these guys. Update we finally got tired of getting the run around and brought it back up ourselves. The manager here is super rude told us it's your furniture you can leave it in the parking lot if you want we don't care it's your stuff. Broke boards and ripped furniture straight from the delivery truck. This is worst furniture company that we have dealt with without any doubt. If I could give them negative stars I would. Every single word said to us tonight from them has been a lie no kidding at all. We have been sitting around back now waiting on them to open the door so we can return the broken stuff but wow close to closing time so they are dragging their feet for sure. Don't just avoid this place run like the wind it's a bunch of B.S. Well looks like there was misunderstanding between what they thought was wrong with our furniture and what was actually wrong. The manager apologized for being a jerk but still does not excuse the bad customer service we have received. They did send us home with one replacement and the other they kept to see about a repair. I still would not recommend them as we paid for delivery the furniture arrived damaged and we had to bring it back. They kept a piece and told us if we wanted them to return that piece we would need to pay for delivery again. What a piece of work victor is since he owns the place and has absolutely no problem with ripping people off and doesn't care that he sells subpar furniture and can go home and still sleep after he takes advantage of somebody. Low prices in this case equal low quality and extremely bad customer service. Would not spend another dollar with them no matter how bad I needed what they sold I would just without. Well update again we picked up our sofa today they were repairing. The repair looks ok and finally we are back to having decent furniture again still cheaply made but all is well...

I went to Mathis outlet last year for a cafe like table. They charged 150 for delivery and couldn't bring it in my house for me, let alone install it, after they had to reschedule several times bc they're employees wouldn't show up and claiming I wasn't there, but trust me, I was waiting. I had to miss some work- it was a hassle. I went to the regular Mathis Brothers and asked if they sprayed- not a single person could tell me an answer. They said "ask that person" and that person would tell me to ask another person- I asked 7 people. No answer.
Went to Galleria and found COCKROACHES in their dressers and other items on the display floor. When telling the associates, they said "oh" continued their conversation at the front desk. I left.
Finally, I go to Furniture Direct. The man working there is FRIENDLY, and genuinely wants to help you find what you're looking for- not just to sell you something. A beautiful selection for great prices and he gets new stuff all the time. He wouldn't sell me something because it was ripped and he wanted to get a brand new one for me. How awesome.
I found an amazing set, bed frame, night stand, and TWO whole dressers:for ALL $800. AND they sent two awesome gentlemen to come INSTALL the whole thing for $80. They showed up exactly when I expected, called 30 minutes before , took less than 2 hours to install. Wow. Absolutely impressed. Will never shop at another furniture store and will always recommend checking out this place to anyone who will listen. I think he should be owning the furnite game over anyone...

I contacted them the day it happened and the woman said she would have one of the shipping guys call me, that never happened. After weeks of calling every day and never being able to reach him she finally asked me to send a photo. Continued calling for weeks after and was told they were waiting to hear back from the manufacturer. Still heard nothing. Finally spoke with someone who said "it looks more like a cut, did you have a pocket knife in your pocket when you sat down? I still haven't heard back from the manufacturer. I'll have my manager call you in the morning". Another week goes by and I called back to speak with the manager who says the manufacturer says it was a cut and he's not going to replace the couch or refund my money. I asked him for the manufacturers number since there's no manufacturers name on the couch and he told me he would not give me the information, and he doesn't have to deal with me. $1200 for a ripped couch, and they will lie their way into not...
