ZERO STARS - READ THIS I had called ahead of time to ask If they had a bottom floor room with 2 beds available that I could park my car in front of, and told the girl at the desk that we have pets. She told me yes. I told her I was submitting a reservation on the app, and asked her if she would hold the room for me, and she agreed she would. We drove the 30 mins to get to this location from where we were at only to find out she wasn't going to give me a bottom floor room and told me pets stay on the second floor (makes no sense at all especially since someone in a room near the office on the bottom floor had a dog) and she says "I gave you a good room" and "drive around to the back, we have an elevator you can use" sure... First elevator didn't work so we had to walk back to the front office. She told us "oh, that elevator isn't working, use the other elevator at the end of the building (mind you, our room is 2nd floor, basically right above from where the office is so once we found the working elevator, I had to walk down 2 long hallways past what appeared to be permanent residents rooms with their doors open, leaking nasty liquid of some sort all while carrying my overnight bag while my son carried a suitcase and other things and the building is very large so it's quite a walk. My son had to make 4 additional trips by himself. Then a security guard comes on patrol and tells us this is the HIGHEST CRIME AREA AROUND and basically not to leave windows down or cracked because everything will be stolen by morning, including our dogs if we leave them in the car. Then if that's not bad enough at 10pm someone comes pounding on my room door and starts yelling something, then starts pounding on the door of the room nextdoor and screaming and it ends up it's the owner, who gets into a verbal altercation and screaming match with the man (apparently a squatter) in the next room to us and this goes on for at least 15 minutes and at this point I am in fear of my safety, so I start packing up our belongings. The man closes his door and the owner comes back and starts pounding and knocking on his door again, telling him "open the door!" and he has keys in his hand and he's screaming at the man nextdoor saying "I don't need your money, I'm a millionaire!" He repeats that line multiple additional times, while arguing with him, and the arguing continues, I'm really afraid at this point that something bad is going to happen, gunfire, a physical brawl, who knows what and my son is outside... So my son went and asked the woman at the front desk for a refund and she told him NO and the only thing we would get back is the $50 deposit, mind you, we've been there maybe an hour. people are creeping around with with their pitbulls & carrying a bat, some skanky female (hooker?) with a man pulls up and parks next to my son's truck and asked my son if he would give them money for a deposit to get them a room. What?!! OMG I just wanted out of there in one piece, we threw all of our belongings in our car and just drove away from there. Homeless bums, squatters, a hooker brawling screaming owner, security guard warning us, WHAT NEXT?! We didn't stay to find out. DANGEROUS LOCATION, VERY UNSAFE, OWNER WAS SO UNPROFESSIONAL couldn't he have removed his squatter in the morning instead of 10pm?! THIS IS A BAD AREA! BAD SITUATION, I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE! NOT SAFE! RUN! You've been warned.

Read moreI reserved the room a couple hours before my arrival and I also called to see if they could accommodate me since I have 2 service dogs and my father is disabled the young lady on the phone barely spoke enough english to understand what I was asking so I left it alone in hopes that she’d be able to understand me in person when I arrived at the property it was raining when I arrived and the lobby had a strong weird smell of something which I can’t even describe but the lobby was big and looked pretty clean. I spoke to the young lady again who had answered the phone earlier and she kind of understood what I was asking for I guess which was a room on the floor. I had paid online and she charged my card again after telling me on the phone that she had my reservation plus she wanted a deposit for my service animals which was unacceptable and wasn’t listed in the policies they should be exempt from fees from my understanding so after she charged me I told her I had paid online prior to arriving which she should have known and I had been trying to give her my reservation number so after she checked her system she apologized and said she’d refund the money so at that point I was to tired to care and just wanted to go to my room and sleep after all I came all the way from California. She made me one room key (rm 122) and when I arrived to my room and opened the door I saw at least 4 big roaches and other bugs I didn’t recognize 3 roaches ran as soon as I opened the door and one was on the AC unit I went back to the lobby and the girls uncle was in there so I told them both about the situation and they acted clue less and tried to make it seem like I was lying, the uncle said they don’t have roaches because I asked if they were infested so I guess it offended him but it was true so they told me they could move my room which the room they gave me was right above the roach infested room and so I walked up the stair because their elevator didn’t work and the staircase was very nasty and had a strong smell of urine and had a chemical smell but I held my breath and kept walking until I got to the door before I could fully open the room door a big roach ran from the flashlight on my phone. I shut the door and rushed back downstairs and the uncle and the niece who most likely owned the place was in the first roach infested room and told me to just call the website who I booked though to get my money back. I ended up having to sleep in my car with my dogs and my disabled father due to the inconvenience of my card being charged over $200 and I was to scared to book anywhere else in fear that they’d have roaches aswell. I’ll never...
Read moreMy husband and I travel cross country twice a year. Feom PA to AZ, and 6 months later, from AZ back to PA. We always stay at Motel 6 and rarely have had any issues with the room or the price. May 19th we used the My 6 app to make reservations, as always, for this location. As it was completing, it said oops, error, but then it completed. I received 2 identical confirmations in my email, with 2 different confirmation numbers. I immediately called the motel. The girl said she couldn't so anyrhing there, that I needed to call customer service. Neither number online would go through. I don't know if it waa reception or what. I was able to send an email to customer guest relations, with no response. When we checked in I identified myself as talking to her before, and I showed hee the duplicate confirmations. They were aware from the moment it happened, and I showed her they were sent at the exact same time. She said bot to worry, that when it's marked as no show, if another charge is showing it will drop off. It didn't! We got out deposit back, but were double charged for the room. I called guest relations, and after much effort and 2 different agents, the second one called the property after filing a complaint. She came back and told me the charge would be refunded. I have not seen it yet, but we will see. I still have the emails, and if not soon, I will turn the matter over to our bank. I could understand if I made 2 bookings, but obviously there was a glitch in the app I alerted the property from the get go. I don't know what to think right now. We've been making this trip for 10 years, and are retired and can't afford to be charged twice for the same room, especially for something that was totally out of...
