Kids City Indoor Playground — Attraction in Oklahoma City

This indoor playground looks really great, but I think the most appropriate age range is about 4–12 years old. I brought my 2.5-year-old and while she absolutely LOVED it, if your little one wants you inside with them, be prepared—it’s back-breaking. I’m 5’0” and had to stay completely bent over to navigate the play areas.

There is a designated area for ages 0–5, but honestly, there wasn’t much to do there. The little houses were just shells with nothing inside, and the ball pit was practically empty, which was disappointing.

Some of the platforms in the main playground were wobbly, and a few of the bridges looked broken or leaning sideways, which made me a little uneasy. Also, note that outside food and drinks are not allowed, and the food/drink available for purchase is pretty lackluster with no real low-sugar options.

On the positive side, the employees were very respectful and I appreciated seeing them actively cleaning. However, I didn’t notice many cameras in the facility—so they’re either very well hidden or not present, which could be a concern for some parents. I also would have liked to see hand sanitizer stations in more spots around the gym, because let’s be real—kids are gross.

Overall, it’s a fun and exciting place for kids, but there are a few areas that could use improvement for both parent comfort and younger...

If I could give a zero-star rating, I absolutely would. When we arrived, we were informed that we needed to either remove our shoes or wear shoe covers. The woman at the front desk was about to provide us with shoe covers, but the manager or owner intervened and directed her not to, instead offering us socks. Although I was uncomfortable with the idea of taking off my shoes, I complied with his request. The situation became even more troubling when we chose a seat right by the entrance. We noticed that the same manager gave shoe covers to a caucasian woman and her daughter who had just arrived. This raised immediate questions for me—why were they given shoe covers while we were not? The manager had previously warned us that the shoe covers could be slippery and dangerous, yet he still chose to provide them to an older caucasian woman, who was over 70. This behavior not only felt discriminatory but also left me feeling uneasy. It made me question his intentions: Did he not want us to have the shoe covers, or was he recklessly indifferent to the safety of the older woman? It’s disheartening to experience such a stark difference in treatment based on race, and it has left a lasting negative impression on our visit.

He might attempt to defend himself by saying, "I'm not racist; I have minorities working for me." but...

Edit to add: We had my sons party today and were very happy. They werent bothering us coming in and out of the room which I liked. They have little carts to help bring everything in and out. You get an hour and a half in the party room which is nice because its not rushed, then we just moved to the public tables to continue playing at the end of the party. The owner also made sure I got all the excess socks of the kids that didnt show since we paid for 12 kids which I appreciated. Definitely recommend throwing a party here.

We came here a few days ago and my kids are still raving and begging to go back. The staff was all very friendly and all smiles which was nice. There was plenty of seating for parents and lots of snack & drink options. The play area is the biggest, nicest one we have seen out of all indoor playgrounds in the city. It is so well done and they are constantly walking around cleaning and ensuring kids aren't climbing slides etc. My oldest decided he wants his party here so we just booked today and are looking forward to a birthday experience here!
