On 08/10/24 I came in to do a return for a teapot from homegoods and slides from Marshall’s that I bought for my son, there was a cashier training a new cashier they both did an amazing job very helpful and kind, they had to call someone up from the home goods side, due to the teapot not having a sticker (yes I took it off thinking I was going to keep it but when I went to open the lid I found out it was broken) the older lady that they called up from the homegood side was very rude about it not having a sticker but I did tell her I knew where it was on the receipt since it was the only item priced at 14.99, she stated “i hope you have time because this is going to take a while for me to find..” in a very rude tone once again the people at the register were kind so I apologized to them tried to apologize to the older lady but she gave the sticker to the cashiers and proceeded to turn away… I was finishing up the transaction when I heard her and another employee talking about how “i broke the teapot and how they can’t just put it back” I’ve worked in customer service (retail at that) i understand how frustrating stuff like this can be that’s why I did the best could with keeping tags receipts as well as letting her know where in receipt the item was at, for her to act the way she was acting and talking about me as if I wasn’t right there was plain rude. I also found a beautiful fleece Disney Mermaid blanket for my daughter who's home from college. Can't wait to gift it to her.
The check out line was long but the staff moved quickly and handled the line with great efficiency. It's holiday time so crowds are expected.

I have the tags and the receipt with the names printed on the receipt and still took over ten minutes of staring at the tags and receipt to fully understand that everything was there!! I had asked why they had to look things up in the computer when I had the tags and the receipts and everything matched and they said that if a tag is removed, they have to look every it In the computer to make sure that they are the correct items even though the names of them are located on the tags and the receipt. After waiting 10 minutes to get my return, finished the cashier threw the receipt at me and walked away....
