Awakenings — Attraction in Omaha

Wish I could give this place 0 stars extremely unwelcoming. Rude manager and accused and profiled my boyfriend and his friend of stealing when he even emptied his pockets in front of the camera to the manager to prove he wasn’t. We came here 2 days prior and bought some stuff but he drove me back so I could continue to look around cause I didn’t have time to look at everything I wanted last time but I’m happy to say I won’t be coming back. I didn’t like the energy this place gave off. I decided to spend my money at another local crystal shop where I’m friends with the owners and they’re always inviting. I would also like to add that not only is the manager strange but so are the owners. They won’t show us or send us the video of the supposed theft they’re talking about on their Facebook page but posted a pic of my boyfriend with his hand in his pocket and his friend kneeling down looking over at the big amethyst statue and staging that pic as if it’s the theft which is weird cause the manager said they stole something out of the case in the back of the store and put it in their pocket but the statue is at the front and the owner is saying the theft happened there and that they took something off that front wall. Their story is all over the place and doesn’t fit together it makes no sense so don’t even waste your time here. I even called back after we left to see if I could speak with a regional manger and the manager there answered and said he was it which I found funny cause soon after I found out there’s only one store so not really a regional manager but nonetheless I told him the situation was very weird and that they were treated unfairly cause how can someone have stolen merchandise in their pockets if they empty to show you otherwise. He basically didn’t want to hear that and said he got his license plate which was fine cause were okay with the police contacting us which they haven’t yet cause there’s no charges to press lol but I soon found out from that phone call why the short manager man in flip flops was mad. My boyfriend and friend were vaping in the store and instead of telling them to politely stop he got mad like and angry little pilgrim. but the funny thing was he told me over the phone that “they smelled like cannabis” then hung up and it was a nicotine vape. My boyfriend even showed the owner the kinda vape it was via Facebook message cause the owner found my boyfriends name from his google review and took it upon himself to message him a bunch of weird stuff cause I’m sure he didn’t want to get schooled on their public google page. I never seen a crystal shop so against weed when 90% of their clientele smokes I’m sure lol but either way the owner is just as weird as the manager. The owner told my boyfriend over message that he trusts his manager to be able to identify the smell of marijuana but apparently tropical banana ice smells the same lol. I’d even like to add I stood and talked to one of the employees for a bit because I was confused and she was more reasonable and sociable and she even thought the situation was weird and confusing and sadly her showing the footage was out of her control and apologized to me then the manager came back up to me and said I needed to get out and that he was refusing service to me like I wanted to buy something...

if i could leave 0 stars i would. the employees are horrible. my sisters and i came in today and was looking around seeing what we wanted. i found a zodiac stone keychain that i wanted and was the only thing i was getting. while continuing walking around, i kept seeing that the employees were watching us. i shrugged it off and continued to look around. when we went to the register to checkout, the cashier helped my sister first and then the manager came over to help. but then after she was finished, they switched registers with the other cashier and took me. the moment i gave them the only item i had, the manager asked about the items i had supposedly put in my pocket. had me empty my pockets in front of everyone and was still treating me like i was doing something wrong and told me he has me on camera doing it even after i had empty my pockets. the only thing i had gotten into my pocket for was my phone. i left crying and when my sister asked if she could see said video, she was told no and that the video can be sent to the police and we can see it in court when there was no stealing happening. even after paying for the said stolen item, he was completely unprofessional and didnt even attempt to apologize for wrongfully accusing me of stealing. i returned the crystal and will not be returning here. im so disgusted and highly disappointed with the way things were handled. the employees are a complete joke. ill support someone elses business who wont single out people. i left traumatized, embarassed and anxiety ridden. would not recommend this place unless you like to be wrongfully accused of stealing. and by the looks of the reviews, its not the first time this has...

Came here twice to see what they had, because i love supporting little crystal shops here in town. The second time i went i took my boyfriend because i wanted to show him what they had too. He and i both tend to dress a little darker, he loves his scratchy logo metal bans t’s. We were the ONLY ones in the store that looked any kind of alternative. We were in there for probably 20-30 minutes before we decided to head out because I literally just wanted to show my boyfriend the cool stones they had. As we left we were followed out and, i believe she was a manager, she straight up accused me of stealing. I happily went in to look at the camera footage to try and understand what they were talking about, yet i saw no where in the video where it looked like i put anything in my pant line/pocket. I was also more than happy to show that i had nothing but the crystals already in my possession. I will not be coming back here because i felt singled out, and they were very adamant that i stole something. They even had the price of the crystal pulled up to make me pay for it. I get that people steal, especially small things like crystals, because theyre easy to conceal. But they had no hard evidence that i stole anything. An experience that i was looking forward too and very excited about quickly turned into and uncomfortable and disappointing event. Really sucks but its cool we got other crystal shops in town...
