Floor & Decor — Attraction in Omaha

Newer store in Omaha, our contractor recommended it highly and they did have good choice as we are doing g bathroom remodeling. We ordered all the stuff we needed and had it delivered but unfortunately the delivery service is horrible. Our condo is on 5th floor, the one delivery guy who came dumped all the stuff outside the building and says that’s what the company does!! My wife and daughter tried to reason with him but to no avail, they had to haul the excessively heavy tiles and everything geode to our condo as delivery guy was of no help and I was out of town. More than half the tiles and flooring material is damaged as well and the phone support was difficult to get a hold of and when finally we connected, they recommended that it’ll be faster if we haul the super heavy broken stuff back to store and exchange it!! Wow, one experience worse than other. Not sure I’ll ever order any other stuff from them. Below are some pictures of the “excellent” service, damaged material lying on the side walk where it was delivered so efficiently.

1/30/2023: Thanks for your prompt attention but you haven’t addressed the elephant in the room, the delivery service! Is that standard for your company to deliver all that heavy material out on the side walk? The damage isn’t the reason for one star, that can happen with any product and I would have been able to li w with that but delivering it on the sidewalk and having us haul it inside, not acceptable. Hope you answer the above question.

Would not recommend! I learned the hard way. My wife and I picked a tile and grout color from here. The young and inexperienced associate later wrote the order up. I picked up the material all wrapped up and ready to ship. Problem was we received the wrong thin set. Keraflor. Our tile was 2’x2’. Unpolished for the floor, polished for the walls. 12 spuare foot for shower floor. 3 different types of tile. The thin set they sent with the order would only be capable with the 12sq in shower. It’s not for large tile nor for walls. I believe their sales associate should have known this or the person packaging it up. Nether of them did. Nor did my tile guy until in was almost done and he read the small print on the bag. Tiles started popping with in weeks. My tile guy fixed them with correct thin set. I’m concerned about the large tiles on the walls and believe this is a safety hazard and will need to be corrected Unacceptable. Store claim their sales associates are not professional tile setters and claim no responsibility, and blamed us and our tile guy for the mistake. I would not recommend Floors n Decor as they hire young inexperienced employees that have not a clue what they are doing in the front of the store or the back. I would advise you to...

After getting a response of management is going to address this, here I am 12 hours later and not a single phone call or follow up. If I could give no stars I would. The response below was just for the public image. Again I can't believe a company thinks it's OK not to return a product that was broken upon purchasing from their store within a week of purchase.

I'm a contractor here in omaha, I purchased a door jam cutter from them on Monday, tried using it on Tuesday, upon using it, I only used it for two minutes and the blade started catching on the guard. I then turned it off, and found out it could not be fixed. Today we tried returning the product just for a swap. Upon trying to do the return they informed me that they do not do returns or exchanges in there store because that goes back on the manufacturer. I tried to communicate that it came from their store four days ago and got continued push back. Ultimately they said they will not be returning it and I need to communicate with the company on a product that cost over two hundred in their store. I will not be returning and I advise others to not purchase tools or anything from them. If that is the policy then they need a sign or explanation of this upon purchase. VERY...
