Went to end the birthday celebration. We should have skipped this trip and due to the experience we didn't even get dessert (which was free for my birthday). Love their endless shrimp and did that but after taking a bite of what was supposed to be popcorn shrimp turned into a thing of plastic, we were both done. Our server was very nice and friendly but didn't seem to concerned that happened and no manager came off and we were charged full price when we didn't eat our food since we both lost our appetites after that. I understand it was most likely not them and since it really looked like a popcorn shrimp, it mostly came that way from the manufacturer but they way it was handled was just wrong in my thoughts. If you see any of my other birthday post you will see dessert because most places offer you a free one for coming and eat there and Red Lobster is one of them and its horrible when I am so sick to my stomach after finding that. I am going to be honest, I figured at first it was a tail that hadn't been taking off and when looking at it I was shocked. I was so much surprised I didn't even get a photo and didn't think of it until our server took the plate. I'm not sure we will ever be back to this location.

This was our third visit. Normally we have a decent experience, but that wasn’t the case last night. I ordered 1lb of crab legs ($37) and didn’t even get a full cluster. Brought this up politely to our server; no apology, no offer to fix it, just a “that’s how it comes.” I was disappointed since I get the crab legs every time and knew the portion was normally almost double what I got, but didn’t want to give our server a hard to time, so I accepted it and moved on. Then, later in the evening, the manager was walking around checking in on all the tables around us but skipped ours. Maybe it’s because we’re in our early 20’s and they didn’t take us seriously or maybe the server had told the manager we said something about the portion. Either way, it was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Not what you’d expect for spending $75 for two people.

My wife sees all of the food commercials on tv. Recently Red Lobster had a special "cedar-plank" dinner consisting of 2 lobster tails, battered & fried shrimp, grilled smoked sausage, potato wedges seasoned corn on the cob and a dinner salad and yes 6 garlic cheesy bicuits added to the order (good choice). Since she is in longterm care I get her these dinners to go then enjoy them with her there. I can only speak of the takeout service. Other than my order was saved under the wrong name they had everything ready and right. Thanks to the waitress's quick thinking to check for my order via the phone# the wrong name was corrected immediately. Preserving the 5th star (that was at risk of loss). The food was delicious (even in the to-go venue). And it did come served on the cedar-plank!

Up front: Our waiter, Alex, was wonderful. The rest of the experience has been the biggest upset I've ever had at a restaurant. I will never return to this location (S 72nd St, Omaha, NE). Though I've been eating here since it opened, we will never return. Managed by Deb Leininger, the business has changed their rules for my 84 year old mother and I (F/64). We ordered the Monday special of All You Can Eat Shrimp. It was NOT ALL YOU CAN EAT!!! While having our meals someone on the staff told Alex we were not allowed to order any more shrimp until we ate what we had. So we were not allowed to have the rest of our meal. Mom eats a little at a time. She has dementia and I'm having a difficult time getting her to eat more than a small amount at a time, multiple times throughout the day. Shrimp is her favorite food. She was excited about trying it all when I explained what we were ordering. I'm sure many of you have loved, elderly parents that you do your best to care for. This situation greatly confused her and upset her, and me. I myself have a history of a Roux-EN-Y Gastric Bypass. I can eat about a cup of food with drink at a time. We'd had a very hard day with multiple health issues and I wanted to have a nice meal with my mother after leaving the hospital and starting the morning with hours of tests. Because of this disappointing refusal to serve us what we requested I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone let alone those who have special needs, requests, or requirements. This "Business" has no business saying they are about guests having an excellent experience. They don't care about an elderly woman and her senior daughter. It's about the money, not about the guests. Take your loved ones elsewhere to be fed. You won't get fed here. Hope this helps others in similar circumstances as ours. So you're not embarrassed, as I was, trying to feed my mom and I myself. Please do not spend your money at this establishment.

$56.00 for 2 meals with soda and tea, $20.00 tip. $70.00 to be told we can't feed you what you ordered.

Please support our local businesses with your patronage. This out of state, multi national conglomerate doesn't care about it's guests, only about their...

As someone who grew up in New England, which offers some of the finest seafood in the world, I am a self-admitted seafood snob. I have never been a fan of Red Lobster. In the few times that I have eaten there in the past, I was wholly unimpressed with the food, and underwhelmed by the service. HOWEVER, my opinion has changed completely after my latest visit. The only reason I gave Red Lobster another chance was because my girlfriend and I decided to try the endless shrimp special. What we experienced was the polar opposite of my prior visits. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere and customer service were nothing like any other time. We were immediately immersed within a warm pleasant ambience. Our host, Sim, was warm and welcoming. We were seated immediately. He explained the updated version of the endless shrimp special and offered multiple seating options. He turned us over to our waitress, Micah, who went through the menu and drink specials, explained other menu options, and provided ample time to peruse the menu, yet not making us wait for an inordinate amount of time. Throughout our stay Micah was very attentive without being bothersome. We were allowed to relax and enjoy our meal. As for the meal itself, it was wonderful. Each of the different shrimp options was obviously freshly prepared. All of them were simply delicious, and were served in a timely manner. I highly recommend this Red Lobster location, and hope that other locations provide the same type of...

When we get the bill, we were to get 3 free desserts from the rewards. I was charged for 2 of them as they weren't aware of the deal, even by entering the code?? When I said I shouldn't have to pay for the other 2 (I wouldn't have ordered them if I knew that), she said they would take them back and then credit the bill. When I asked what they were going to do with them, she said they would be ready for the next to go orders. So against food service rules!!! Disgusting as I had already opened the containers and looked at them. What if someone wasn't honest like that??!?!? Makes you wonder how fresh food is really when you ask for it to go or someone else returns food that was under/overcooked for them. I returned them as I didn't want to pay for them.

Also the bill showed that the one dessert was free but when you manually added up each individual items we should have been charged for, it was $30 less than what the bill showed. When she first took off the 2 desserts (totaling $17) dropped my bill $3 that was a red flag!! The "manager" and 2 servers couldn't figure it out why and I had to show them how to figure it out. Their response was a glitch in the computer system. I WILL NOT be going back to that location knowing 1. food is reused on to-go orders (server said so herself and then backtracked when I repeated that loud enough so another booth can hear) and 2. I was overcharged and 30 minutes later finally got it...
