I was visiting from out of town and found myself in desperate need of a massage due to a stubborn knot. After a quick search on Yelp, I came across Allora and was thrilled to snag an appointment right away. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed. The facility was spotless, and the staff greeted me with such warmth and friendliness that I immediately felt at ease. Before my massage, I had the chance to relax in their cozy lounge area while sipping on a soothing cup of tea. The decor was beautifully curated, with calming tones and a serene atmosphere that added to the overall experience. My massage therapist was absolutely incredible—attentive, skilled, and able to apply just the right amount of pressure to work through all my tension. By the end of the session, I felt completely rejuvenated, and that nagging knot was finally gone. Allora exceeded my expectations, and I couldn’t recommend it enough. Whether you’re local or just passing through, this place is a hidden gem you don’t want to miss!

Worst massage experience of my life. I’m not picky by any means. I received a Swedish massage yesterday and was left with bruises and terrible pain on my back. My massage therapist actually PULLED MY HAIR 3 times! So hard that some of my hair pulled out. I was left speechless. We paid for 90 minutes and received 70 minutes (but honestly thank goodness it wasn’t any longer). I appreciate a firm hand, but jamming an elbow into the bones in my back is not an appropriate technique. I kept praying that it would get better, and it only got worse. This massage therapist should not be employed at any reputable spa.

I love this place! Dave is amazing and is my go to therapist. I love him! He is very calming, has amazing pressure and is extremely talented. I have to see him once a month. Lol And today I came on his day off--so he wasn't available--and I took a chance with Kiara, and she's phenomenal! I even came a little late, and she optimized my time to a tee. She was so sweet and calming. You really can't go wrong here! Also, you get a glass of wine 😉Thank you Allora!

I went with expectation and optimism on Saturday, February13, 2021. My spa treatments were part of a celebration to honor a recent promotion I received.

After entering, getting my temperature checked and using the restroom, I began to observe that the business was not observing COVID-19 precautions in parts of the establishment.

One employee had no mask on while going into a room to set up a service. He continued to walk around with no mask on as he talked to other employees who were wearing masks.

The waiting area I was directed to sit in while I filled out my waiver form was packed with people, 6 to 8, who were drinking complimentary wine and bellinis. The room was like the size of a small bathroom. There were no seats available for me to sit at. But I felt uncomfortable back there because no social distance observations were happening in that waiting area at that time. No 6 feet of distance between clients. And because people were drinking they also had their masks off as they talked and drank.

I asked to sit in another area that wasn't as packed. The only spot was a hallway with a ottoman chair for seating. This hallway is the main traffic area where people have to walk by to get to rooms and the front door.

I sat for some minutes, observing more and seeing more clients in the business walking around; I thought there was a lower amount allowed at a time. I felt uncomfortable and decided it would be best for me to ask to reschedule my services.

I went to the front and told the manager/person booking appointments that I would like to reschedule, didn't feel safe with the amount of people inside the small location.

The manager responded, telling me to my face that she was going to lose money having to pay the people who would have done my treatments and that me booking time for those treatments meant she had to say no to other people on her waiting list, which cost her money. Told me these things to my face. As a customer who was about to pay for three treatments at her spa.

When I told her one employee didn't have a mask on she ignored that and didn't address it. Instead, she impatiently asked me what day did I wanted to reschedule the massage. It felt like she just want to get me out of the spa and put me on another date as fast as she could.

My experience of the manager/appointment setter is her focus is booking as many people as possible to make as much money as possible for the spa. When I shared my concern about the number of people in the place and feeling more comfortable rescheduling she responded with agitation that she would still have to pay the people who were going to do my service and she was condescending to me. I felt that in her voice, her tone as she looked at me.

She told me that it's Valentine's weekend and they are busy and they are going to have more people here and other stuff that made it clear to me I was not her priority. My safety was not her priority. My business was not her priority. Making money was the priority.

I decided that afternoon after leaving to cancel the rescheduled appointment and not patronize this business.

My desire to go to this business is that I trusted, based on their website info about COVID-19 precautions that I would feel safe as a client in the midst of this pandemic.

What I experienced at Allora Day Spa Saturday was disappointing, hurtful, unprofessional customer service, and took away my confidence as a paying customer that I would be safe and kept safe at this business. It should not matter if it's a holiday weekend like Valentine's or a slow business morning. Protocols about COVID-19 must be followed across the board for businesses who are advertising that they will provide and follow these guidelines.

My request in posting this review about Allora: Please require all employees to wear masks while working and figure out a better option for your waiting area that minimizes the space clients are sitting next to each other especially while not wearing masks in a closed space. Allora is a beautiful place; just disappointing what I...

I do not go to a spa very often. My sweet husband got me a full day package as a gift, so I really got to enjoy the full experience, so I'll do my best to describe each person and service I got to try. I hope I get the names right!

Gita- at the front desk and on the phone, was extremely kind and helpful!

Donnee- one of their male masseuses. He was amazing! It had been at least a year since I'd had massage. So my back was full of knots, and he really did a great job of working everything out. The aromatherapy aspect of it was very nice too. He was very respectful and the whole experience was relaxing and wonderful!

Sapphire- the nail technician who gave me a hand massage and food massage, which included masks. She was so sweet and really gentle! My feet are super sensitive and she was really careful and even helped trim up my toe nails a little bit, which I didnt ask for, she was just being helpful.

Vina- technician who did my full body mud wrap! She was so sweet. I laid down the wrong way on the table, but she had a good sense of humor about it so I didnt feel embarrassed. Did a great job and helped me feel relaxed! (This was my first time ever doing a mud wrap. I personally don't think I'd do the mud wrap again just because I didn't like the feel of the plastic on my skin. But I did really enjoy the warm blanket, and my skin felt nourished!)

Hassna- technician who did my facial. She did a good job in general, but the blackhead extraction was extremely painful. I get though that because I don't do this very often, my skin isn't in the best shape, and I also just need to be better at my own home skincare. So this experience inspired me to do that! (This service included an LED treatment, which if you have any trouble with strobing, I wouldn't recommend. I could see the strobing through my closed eyelids and it started to bother me right before the end.)

The environment here was really nice. They have water and snacks, and a comfortable waiting room. They gave me a robe and a locker as well. The whole experience was really lovely and I highly...

If I had only had one service, I definitely would have rated this is a 5. But since I had two services and one was not good so I was tempted to rate it a 3. I compromised on a 4 because I do love the spa.

Jawuana the facial technician was fabulous! Very upbeat personality, very informative in terms of explaining what she as doing and why, and provided recommendations for future use (but was not selling product at all). Very strongly recommend her and I will use her going forward.

The second technician did a massage for my daughter and my daughter thought it was very good.

I had a scrub with the second technician that was not good at all - first of all, the time allocated for me to just take off my robe and get under the sheet was excessive in my opinion. It just doesn’t take long to slip under a sheet.

The technician came in and described the scrub as it would leave “significant residue on my skin” so of course I went with the offered alternative of mud. I accept that I did not ask enough questions but the mud was quickly applied (no scrub, no massage, just put on quickly), I was wrapped and left for about 10 minutes. Then I was wiped off with a hot towel but when I got home I had mud residue on my arms and legs. The hot towel was following but warm oil that was also applied quickly.

All in all an uninspired disappointing experience.

On the positive side when I mentioned it to the front desk, the receptionist was great and even offered a fee reduction (which I did not expect or request).

Overall I love Allura and have been there quite a few times and never had an issue. I also had scrubs before and no problems. I will return but will most likely avoid this technician and the scrub! I recommend...
