As a returning Rolex customer with a verified purchase from the original Mayors store—back when it carried multiple luxury watch brands—I had no reason to expect anything but professionalism from the newly branded Rolex Boutique in Orlando. What I experienced instead was a complete and escalating breakdown in service, culminating in one of the most insulting interactions I have encountered in any luxury retail setting.

My prior Rolex purchase was handled flawlessly by Kevin Phillips, the former Mayors manager, whose professionalism earned my original 5-star review. That level of customer service, however, is now completely absent from the current boutique.

During my first visit to the Rolex Boutique, I was not greeted or acknowledged. No employee introduced themselves, and I was left standing until I approached a man—Timothy Robinson—who I had noticed watching me. Only after I asked did he confirm that he worked there. I explained that I had previously purchased a Rolex from Mayors, and that I had been unaware of the new boutique setup. His reply? “Yes, they don’t sell Rolex anymore—we took it away from them,” said with smug satisfaction. When I inquired whether they had a two-tone Submariner available (a model I am waitlisted for), he scoffed. The entire conversation was condescending, dismissive, and deeply unprofessional. I left feeling demeaned and disrespected.

UPDATE: Shortly after posting a negative review about this encounter, I was contacted by Corey—the store manager—who asked me to return to the boutique to speak with him in person. I informed him I was in Washington, D.C. and not available. He called again the following week, this time while I was on a business trip in New York, again urging an in-person meeting. Given his persistence, I made the assumption that he wanted to address the issue and potentially offer a gesture of goodwill, perhaps even allocate one of the timepieces on my list.

I flew to Orlando.

Upon arriving at the boutique and asking for Corey, an employee went to retrieve him. After an extended delay, the employee returned and informed me that Corey was taking a nap in the back. Let me repeat that: the manager who persistently called me—after my review—asking me to fly in and meet him was asleep in the back room.

Eventually, Corey emerged, recognized me immediately, and invited me to sit. Looking across the desk, he asked: “How may I help you?” I asked if that was a serious question—given he had insisted I come. His response? “I just wanted to meet you in person.”

That was the entire purpose of the meeting. No offer to correct the situation. No allocation. No sincere remedy. When I expressed that I had traveled in good faith expecting a resolution, he apologized and gave a generic explanation that “watches are distributed based on availability.” Nothing more.

This experience was not merely disappointing—it was insulting. A complete disregard for a loyal customer’s time, money, and dignity.

I will never purchase another Rolex. I will never spend another dollar with Mayors. I have since acquired a beautiful Audemars Piguet timepiece—and the contrast in professionalism and respect could not be more dramatic. That is what true luxury service looks like.

To Mayors and Rolex corporate: you are hemorrhaging long-term clients due to poor training, unqualified staff, and egregious management failures. You should be...

Rolex Boutique Orlando: Service Beyond Expectation ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was my second purchase at Rolex Boutique Orlando, and once again the experience was outstanding. I want to sincerely thank Julie and Alex for going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. After a mix-up with the model my wife wanted for our anniversary, Julie carefully corrected the order and secured the exact watch. While we were traveling overseas, both Julie and Alex communicated with us and held the watch until our return. Thanks to their professionalism and attention to detail, we were able to surprise my wife with the timepiece she truly wanted. The moment we picked it up, my wife was thrilled. The watch was beautiful, elegant, and everything one would expect from a Rolex. Alex and Julie’s patience, care, and commitment made the process smooth and memorable from start to finish. I highly recommend Rolex Boutique Orlando to anyone seeking a remarkable Rolex watch and an exceptional client experience. Their team truly sets the standard for luxury service.

This was my FIRST REVIEW over 2 months ago: I can’t say enough about the incredible experience I had with Rolex Orlando, and especially Alex Croyle who helped make a long-time dream come true.

After being on the waitlist for over a year at both Rolex Orlando and in a 3 years wait at Mayors Jewelers in Jacksonville, I had all but given up on ever getting the elusive Rolex Daytona. Despite my patience and interest, I never received a call from Mayors. Then, just when I least expected it—on July 4th—Alex from Rolex Orlando gave me a call I’ll never forget. What a memorable way to celebrate Independence Day!

Alex was nothing short of exceptional. From the beginning, he was professional, respectful, and never made any promises he couldn’t keep. When the time came, he followed through with integrity and a genuine enthusiasm that made the moment even more special. He made sure every part of the experience—from the call to the in-store presentation—felt personal and exciting.

Rolex Orlando runs a tight, honest operation that clearly respects its customers and the legacy of the brand. I highly recommend them to anyone in search of not only an extraordinary watch, but an extraordinary buying experience.

Thank you again, Alex and Rolex Orlando, for making this Daytona moment one I’ll remember...

I went for lunch at the mall at Millennia in Orlando with my mother and decided to go into Mayors Jewellers not looking to buy anything. Since the moment we walked into Mayors we were welcomed by David who was very pleasant and helpful. My mother had some interest on Cartiers watches; unfortunately, the one she was interested on checking out wasn’t readily available at the store. Even though the watch wasn’t available David took his time to showcase some other options, his knowledge about the brand shine through the information provided to us about each collection, movements and specifications of each watch. His passion about his job is evident by the attention to detail and the brand history. David was never forceful or pushy trying to make a sale. He let us take our time with each time piece, finally after trying different options my mother decided on her first choice the Cartier that wasn’t available at this store. David was so helpful about setting up the purchase and different options for us to collect the watch when available. During this visit and through the explanation of the craftsmanship of Cartier watches I became quite interested on the brand and its legendary history, so much that I also decided to get a Cartier as well and even though I’ve been a loyal customer to Hermès, I thought Cartier is a great addition to my collection and even though I live in NYC and there is a Cartier on 5th Ave, I decided to get my Cartier at Mayors because of the David, he was so accommodating even though this store didn’t have the Cartier I wanted as well, David was able to located the model I wanted at another Mayors and had it overnight delivered to this store, so I could collected before my departure from Orlando. Our overall experience was great David is truly charming and his charisma is palpable through his customer service, we got two watches when we were just browsing this tells you his wonderful customer service. He was always a gentleman with my mother respectful and pleasant. He is truly an asset to Mayors, highly...
