I really liked the idea of UCF downtown, but it seems this has been a half-finished, rushed initiative. Staff on the main campus have no idea how to contact their corresponding downtown offices (ie, Career Services on the main campus doesn't know who works in the Career Services office downtown; nor how to contact them; tried twice). THere's very little information on the UCF downtown page as to what's available on this campus. Additionally, the DPAC (phillips academic center) is a 2-building structure (connected by an overhead walkway) yet there are still no labels on the building identifying which classroom numbers are in which building. Yeah, the 6 tables they have in the main entrance is great if they're not already full. But where am I supposed to study or wait for my next class if they kick you out of every room on campus? I made the mistake of trying to save money and bringing my own lunch only to be rudely confronted by one of the IT employees.
