I went there for their holiday fundraising event. The tickets are expensive but the money is for a good cause. Lots area restaurants are there providing samples of their menu. Babe's BBQ and Aqua were my favorites. Just be careful, these places run out of food quickly so you should get there early. If you arrive later, the line in is very slow and all the booths are crowded. The food was good and it was fun walking up and down El Paseo window shopping and people watching. They had live music and it was good. My impression was that, for me, it was a "been there, done that" place. If you walk into a location and you don't look like you have money. It doesn't look like they have the time to spend with you. The mall is a hop, skip and jump across the way and there are several eateries at a neighboring strip of businesses...something for everyone and no need to even move the car from the shady...
