Ross Dress for Less — Attraction in Panama City Beach

Store was so dirty today. I've been in this store before and don't remember it being like this, but if first impressions are everything, the people walking into this store this more were met with a filthy first impression. The area where we picked up our cart had trash everywhere. All over the floor. It was around 11am and there lots of people shopping, but the manager was at the front register facing all of this trash. The rest of the store was fairly disheveled, but thankfully not nearly as dirty as the front of the store. The staff was friendly and were working quickly to get customers in and out. 2 months ago I shopped at this location and they bagged my items in a garbage bag. I alerted the manager that if they were going to put someone's purchase in a garbage bags they should at least ask instead of just tossing everything in there, not even folded or anything. The manager was rude and laughed in my husbands face saying he didn't care if we wanted it in a bag or not.

We went back yesterday and the cashier had a bit of a snarky attitude when we told her we didn't want our items in a trash bag (yes, using trash bags months later), as if it was a problem or more work for her to not bag it.

I love Ross! Large selection of top brands, at a fraction of the cost. I would give it a 5 star, but there was only 1 register taking customers, even though there was a apparent manager on duty just standing around at a different register. And after waiting in line for over 15 min, the manager tells us as soon as we only had 1 person ahead of us at the checkout register to remove all hangers from clothes ourselves before we reach the register. I'm sure that was not meant to be an inconvenience, but after spending almost 2 hours in there in the first place just shopping the clearance rack and sales, we were just ready to get out of there.
