I went to this store with my 3 phones, Galaxy S8. S9 and Note 9 for battery replacement. All phone were properly working at that time. Just at the time of handing over phones I turned off all 3 phones in front of person at counter and handed over all phones. At the given time, when I returned back, I was told that they did not fix S8 because backside glass was broken but other 2 phones were worked on. However, to our shock, my wife's phone was not working at all. Screen kept flickering and repair guys raised hand that phone was off when the phone was given to them. So they don't know. Counter person simply lied that he did not see me turning off phone. When I handed over the phone first time, they told me to come back after 1 hour 30 minutes back. As they were not willing to take the ownership of damage they made, I asked them to put old battery back. Carlos who repaired the phone, said he will need 45 minutes to do that. However, to our surprise within 5 minutes he came back saying that he replaced old battery. After that my wife's phone never got turned on. On my son's phone also they were kind of doing testing with Samsung store and they were not giving any ETA when it will get over. I realized that they have messed up with that phone also so I asked them to put back old battery in that phone also. They did that and now my son is also facing issues with his phone. Like this, they damaged our 2 working phones and simply raised hands. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. THEY WIILL NOT FIX THE PROBLEM BUT THEY WILL CREATE PROBLEMS FOR YOU. My only complaint is that it seems like the uBreakIFix appointment scheduling or contact management system could be improved (or the staff at this store need to know how to use it).
I made an appointment online, and thought it would take like 5 minutes to give them my name, drop off my tablet, tell them the screen was discolored / wouldn't turn on, sign something, and drop it off. Unfortunately it seemed like the fact I made an appointment and gave all my contact information didn't matter at all. The staff insisted that they need to record my name, email, phone number, do a bunch of other back-end paperwork, that took about 20 minutes, as if me taking the time to do an online appointment and giving that information already didn't matter. And I actually needed to give my phone number multiple times. This wouldn't have been more than an annoyance if not for the fact I needed to take my three young kids with me, as I had them when I had time to drop the tablet off, and so all while I needed to be doing this second paperwork exercise, they were going a bit nuts. Clearly the staff were annoyed at the kids too, but it would not have been an issue if they were able to use the information I gave them online and I just hand them the tablet and sign something. They then asked for my email over the phone when giving me the price and committing to the repair.    Read moreI drove here from Dothan AL as my town doesn't have a location. About 6 months ago, my screen cracked and I went to the Montgomery location. They couldn't find my warranty claim, failed to communicate with me or Asurion, factory reset my phone, kept it overnight(my appt was right when they opened at 11am on Saturday), and took FOREVER just to replace the screen. I got my phone back at dinner the next day as we were about to just leave it and drive back home. I had my concerns about coming back to another location, but Isaiah put my mind at ease! I walked in without an appointment this time, but I had filed a claim. He got me checked in immediately, found my warranty info and confidently told me to come back at 1pm for pickup. I asked if he wanted a number to reach me, he looked caught off guard, but then took the number down and said he'd call if anything came up.
