I started my experience with campmor when I was looking for a roof basket for my vehicle. They had exactly what I was looking for and at the right price unlike most of their competitors which were marking up the price. I placed my order and in exceptional timing they had my order processed and and already shipped out to me.
Now when my package arrived I did see some damage on the box that made me nervous, I proceeded to open the package and found damage on my new roof basket and my first reaction was (Aw man this is about to get complicated) now I know this stuff happens all the time with any company so I took pictures of the damage and emailed them out to the company and then waited for a response.
It was only a few hours later that I had a response not only by email but by phone as well!!! wondering how they could satisfy me as a customer.
I have never experience this kind of AMAZING service. They didn’t try to deny that the damage was there, they didn’t throw me through all kinds of technical processes they simply made it about ME. THE CUSTOMER. And when we decided on what to do to satisfy me they were already finishing processing that claim before I was even off the phone.
I AM MORE THAN SATISFIED!!

Read moreI have no idea what the store is like but I can tell you that I had a very negative experience with their mail order department. I ordered shoes that were not only clearly NOT the size I ordered but not as advertised. They were expensive shoes but showed up looking like sweat shop knock offs.
I IMMEDIATELY CONTACTED THEM and was assued they stood behind their products, yet they did not process my credit.
I returned the items the SAME DAY. Contacted them when I confirmed the arrival of the package via USPS and was again told they would credit me. Again, no credit
After more than a week I called again, and spoke to an incredibly rude woman who called me a liar and said they never received them. I called her up with the USPS tracking number, she said she would process the credit, and yet again, IT WAS NOT DONE.
A few days later, I had to fax the same USPS receipt. She told me (reluctantly I might add) that she would now process the credit.
My credit card company still says they never received the credit, and I have had to tell them that if it doesn't get processed soon I will seek legal action.

At start I told that there is ongoing limited discounts on purchase and I negotiated for discount for my entire purchase and they confirmed that I will get. But while making payment the cashier shows reluctance but they gave the discount on my entire purchase after stating what was confirmed to me when I started. After a week I visited again to return a sleeping bag that didn’t worked on camping at ADK which it supposed to be as per the rating shown on the bag. I got the replacement after having some conversation but worst experience with them was again with the cashier who first reduced the discount from my first purchase (which was genuine) but when I purchased a new sleeping bag with higher amount she didn’t gave discount which was running that day, reasoning she gave was I already got discount earlier, so what? you won’t be giving any offer running to me onwards for life time?
