This is the worst Popeyes location I have ever been to. The staff working the register can not speak or understand English. I don't expect the employees to be fluent. However, they should know the menu items. We had just left a family event, and it was too late to cook, so I figured Popeyes was a fast option on the way home. I have had a couple of bad experiences at this particular location, but nothing this annoying. I try to order 2 spicy chicken sandwiches, 1 regular chicken sandwich, 1 spicy blackened chicken sandwich, and some strips and sides as well. I got my receipt and saw that the guy put the order in wrong. I tried for several minutes to show him it wasn't right, but the language barrier prevented anything from being resolved. He kept insisting it was right, and I couldn't get him to understand that a spicy chicken sandwich isn't the same thing as a spicy blackened chicken sandwich. Sure enough, I get the bag of food, and there are 3 spicy blackened chicken sandwiches in there instead of one spicy blackened and two normal spicy sandwiches. The rest of the order was correct. I tried again to show one of the other employees that the order was wrong. But I quickly realized that even with visual aides, I was getting nowhere and just walked out with the wrong items. Today I went to this location's drive thru and ordered their bacon & cheese chicken sandwich “plain”. The person taking the order repeated that I wanted my sandwich with no mayo and no pickles and confirmed my order was correct. Before I pulled out of the parking lot I made sure to check my order and to my surprise I found in the packaging a bun with cheese and bacon, no mayo, no pickles and NO CHICKEN. I’m going to repeat that because it bears repeating. For 8 dollars someone wrapped up a sandwich with only cheese and bacon and served it to a customer.
It gets better. I went inside and showed the person at the front counter what had happened and he started cracking up. He proceeded to walk around the back of the restaurant showing everyone what they had prepared for me and everyone found is hysterical. It wasn’t until I blurted out “I don’t find this funny, actually it’s quite disturbing” that the person holding my order actually apologized. The comedic situation superseded my need and they had no desire to attend to me. And it wasn’t until I again shouted “I need to get back to work,” did the employees actually address my order.

I ordered two chicken sandwiches and asked if i could get a small cup of pickles on the side. I’m told “no.” I’m told they can put extra pickles on the sandwich, but cannot put them on the side. I explained to the guy behind the counter that the last time I was here the associates just put a handful of pickles in a cup and gave it to me. He said “we don’t do that here.” I left with no pickles lol.
I have to leave a 1 star review because I will simply never come back to this location. You have pickles, right? You have cups, right? You can’t put pickles in a cup? I’ll pay for it. Tell me it’ll be an extra $3, I don’t care I just want pickles. I won’t go back when I can go to Jersey Mikes, Wendy’s, or other places that happily fulfill my request.
